I got new books 📚. It may seem childish, but I genuinely get so excited whenever I get new books. It’s such a simple kind of happiness, but I can’t really explain it. I just love having new books to read.

one month with The Goldfinch has been one of the most beautiful reading experiences i’ve ever had.i’ve finally accepted that donna tartt is an extraordinary writer. despite how long this novel is, i never once felt tired of it. every page pulled me in deeper.it never felt like i was reading about theo. it felt like i was there with him, living every loss, every mistake, every fleeting moment of hope. the writing is simply breathtaking. i genuinely don’t have the words to describe what this book made me feel.
