@staff this is the 3rd day of my account being terminated without warning and no one getting back to me despite my repeated inquiries.

My account (https://sweetdevil-sims.tumblr.com) has been terminated by mistake. I have read your community policy and there is nothing in there that my activity on Tumblr has gone against.

This is a complete mockery of your userbase who actually abide by your rules. I don’t know what kind of culture you’re trying to foster here by terminating legitimate accounts (I, sadly, am not the first — and frankly I have zero confidence that I’ll be the last) while doing jack shit about p0rn b0ts that drop dangerous links in DMs and comments.

Remember those? I got at least one following me daily, which I reported. And if I went back to that blog 1-2 weeks later, it was still up! Why does your algorithm terminate legitimate accounts, yet leave the b0ts alone? Is this what the New Tumblr is aiming to become as a company? Banning p0rn from users but covertly allowing a network of b0ts to roam free and fool people into clicking those links?

@staff terminating your users’ accounts due to a shitty algorithm (if that’s what actually happened) is not on the users to fix! This is by far the most baffling case of having to deal with customer support, I’ve encountered — because at least in other cases, customer support actually talked to me!

All I’ve been getting so far from this site’s customer support is radio silence. Not ONE reason for your decision, not even a damn auto-generated message to give me a HINT of why my account of 5 YEARS has been terminated without notice! How much longer are you going to sit there and ignore my and others’ comments about this problem?

ETA: and you have the balls to introduce the Post+ system to a site with this kind of management? Yes, because I would totally agree to give you money knowing that accounts can be terminated like this, and that users are ignored when they need help with something!

I literally was trying to publish a reply to an ask when — surprise! — I had nowhere to post it to!

MY BLOG HAS NO OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT ON IT. I WAS NEVER GIVEN ANY NOTICE OF ANY BAD BEHAVIOR OR CHANCE TO CORRECT IT, IF IT EVEN EXISTS!

Furthermore, my account and its sub-blogs are of archival relevance to the The Sims 3 gaming community, containing both mods and tutorials.

With this, I hope I’ve gained your attention and you won’t let literal years of effort in creating, sharing, and archiving content go to waste. It makes me very sad to see the destruction of a community where many have made efforts to preserve content, for absolutely no clearly stated reason.
