My grandmother is an elderly woman who has lived through extremely difficult conditions. Now, in her old age, she suffers from serious health issues including a heart attack, heart disease, and diabetes. On top of that, she is experiencing malnutrition due to a lack of proper food, which puts her health at even greater risk.
She urgently needs daily medication, healthy food, and special medical care. But because of our very difficult financial situation, we’re unable to provide everything she needs.
We are trying to raise a small amount of money to support her, and every donation — no matter how small — can make a real difference in her life. If you can help by donating or even just sharing this post, it would mean the world to us.
Note, she has been living with us since the beginning of the war because her children live the life of tents and she is very difficult. She cannot live in a tent because she is elderly and needs care.
We need to save 200 or 300 dollars. To ensure her care for a week.
Hello guys, this fundraiser was created with the help of my friend Adam.
Our goal is to help th… Adam M needs your support for Help Sami

I wrote the number to alert and to know when the goal will be achieved 🙏 .
Good news! Thanks to your donations, Fatima and her family were able to evacuate!
But, they had to leave with nothing in order to escape the bombing. Let’s help them again!
When you send them something, you will be directly contributing to getting them shelter. They currently have to sleep on the street with their children. All donations will help buy a new tent, food, and clothes for her children while they get settled. ❤️🫂
One tent can cost up to 400USD!😱 Donate to help!🙏🏽
We need a tent🙏. My children are sleeping in the street, with shells falling right under their eyes. We don't ask for much... just a tent to shelter them💔, to distance them from this daily horror, from the sight of the sky raining fire instead of safety. Just a tent... to shield them from fear, to give them a little security and to sleep without panic. Whoever can help, do so.🙏

This is the horrifying reality Hossam Al-Qazzaz faced this week.
Already displaced from their home, Hossam, his wife Hanan, and their four children—Bashar (9), Hani (8), Diana (4), and 9-month-old Habiba—are struggling to survive in a battered tent on the coast after being evacuated once again from the ruins of their home in Khan Younis.
To feed his starving family, Hossam often walks over 14 kilometers to reach aid distribution points; an incredibly dangerous journey, where many are shot or trampled in the ensuing chaos of the actual distribution.
Just days ago, while at one such aid distribution site, tragedy struck:
Shells were fired into the crowd.
Hossam was there with his brother-in-law, Mohammed Zanad (who we've previously written about HERE), and Mohammed's son, Abdul Rahman, when the violence broke out. Hossam suffered minor injuries to his face, but his brother-in-law and nephew were badly injured; Mohammed was badly injured by shrapnel across his entire body, while Abdul Rahman suffered a severe injury to his right hand. As of this writing, he remains in a British field hospital awaiting evaluation; the little boy’s hand may require amputation.
After days without contact due to the internet outages in Gaza, Hossam messaged us this morning, frustrated and exhausted:
“We were together, the three of us, at the aid distribution site, and a missile fell on us and those present. Now we can only pray for them. He is a poor little boy. I hope God heals his hand. Please pray for him...”
Like so many in Gaza, the Al-Qazzaz family is trapped in an endless cycle of terror, injury, and loss. They are battling hunger, constant bombardment, and the inability to flee because of closer borders and war-induced financial hardship. Skyrocketing food prices and destroyed infrastructure make basic survival nearly impossible, forcing Hossam and others like him to go to these dangerous aid sites to simply not starve.
Please consider donating to the Al-Qazzaz family's fundraiser. Every dollar we send the Al-Qazzaz family helps Hossam and feed his wife, four young children, and elderly parents without having to risk death to do it; buy formula for the youngest child, baby Habiba; help support the family financially as they are continually forced to relocate and start over with every attack that claims their belongings; and cover any necessary medical care or other essentials for the family.
The trauma this family is enduring is unimaginable, and they need help urgently.
If you are able, we implore you: please share the Al-Qazzaz family's story far and wide, and donate, of you're able. Their campaign has stalled, and they haven't received any donations in days. If we all contribute even a little, we can help this precious family survive—and give them a chance to escape this nightmare.

I appeal to you
Imagine being forced to flee your home with your children in your arms, spending months in uncertainty, only to return and find everything you worked so hard to build reduced to rubble. In an instant, the life you worked so hard for is gone.
Images: (Top) Muhammad with his two young children: Suha (3 years old) and Zuhair (1.5 years old). (Bottom) The remnants of Muhammad's house, which was destroyed amidst the conflict of the last year.
Story by @rumiandroses
This is reality Muhammad Anwar Yahya Abu Zanad and his family.
Before the war, Muhammad was a hardworking laborer at a contracting company. He built a good life for his wife Salsabil, their young children Suha (3 years old) and Zuhair (1.5 years old), and his extended family—including his parents, Anwar and Suha, and his siblings, Malak, Laila, and Abdul Rahman. Muhammad provided for them all, ensuring they had a home filled with love and security.
Then, war came.
In November 2023, their neighborhood was given an immediate evacuation order. Muhammad and his family fled to Rafah, where they lived for six months in a tent at Al-Khwarizmi School. But even this refuge was taken from them when Rafah was also ordered to evacuate.
Returning to their home in Khan Yunis, they found it bombed and barely standing. With nowhere else to go, Muhammad did his best to patch together what remained, but the house is not safe. Gaps in the structure allow rats, insects, and stray animals to enter. The family lives in constant discomfort, exposed to the elements.
Muhammad has not been able to find work since the war began. He relies entirely on scarce aid, struggling to feed his family. Baby Zuhair needs formula, but prices have skyrocketed. His father suffers from high blood pressure, his mother from diabetes, yet medicine is nearly impossible to afford.
Your donation will help:
✅ Repair Muhammad’s home or, if needed, assist in evacuating the family to safety.
✅ Provide food for Muhammad's family and baby formula for Muhammad’s young child.
✅ Purchase necessary medication for Muhammad's parents.

Muhammad is doing everything he can to protect his family, but circumstances outside of his control are making life more difficult by the day.
Your support—whether through a donation or simply sharing his story—can be the difference between survival and despair.
Let’s stand together, and show Muhammad and his family that they are not alone.
You can donate to Muhammad's Chuffed campaign [HERE].
Muhammad and his wife have sent photos of their identification to Gaza Giving Tree for identity verification. We're hoping to help them get vetted by other mutual aid organizations like @gazavetters.
This campaign is also VETTED BY ASSOCIATION! Muhammad is the brother of Hanan Al-Qazazz and the brother-in-law of Hossam Al-Qazzaz ( @bashar-qazaz / @hos-pal ), who HAVE been vetted by @gazavetters and is (#287) on their list of verified campaigns.
My dear friend was injured trying to get flour at one of the US “aid” stations. While he recovers, please reblog this post & donate if you can. They need food desperately and donations are their only avenue right now.
Imagine being forced to flee your home with your children in your arms, spending months in uncertainty, only to return and find everything you worked so hard to build reduced to rubble. In an instant, the life you worked so hard for is gone.

✅ Ensure access to clean water, hygiene supplies, and basic necessities.

My friend Esraa @esraafamily a lovely person who earned her degree in early childhood education. We laugh at silly cat photos together and her favourite cats are white. Unfortunately because of the relentless bombing she now bares the burden of helping feed finding shelter for herself, her mother and their children.
