Eight by fourteen inches equals roughly 22,000 individual stitches and just as many reasons to regret my poor life choices, but it’s DONE! I don’t want to think about how many hours of work went into this, but I’m so pleased with how it came out. I’ve had this in the works for about a year now, working on it here and there, but the last few weeks I’ve really pushed to finish it up, and I’m super happy with how this came out.

I'm going to make my friend who cosplays Karkat a gift this Christmas but it's a little last minute! Do you have any quick cosplay prop ideas that would be a good gift for him?

I think any bigger props may take more time than you have but you could always use polymer clay or shrinky dinks to make jewelry! A zodiac charm would be quick and nice.

If you have the ability to find a dark red hoodie in time you could apply a god tier symbol to it.

Or maybe pick up a black knit beanie and some horn-colored fleece and make a karkat-horned winter hat. Maybe even use the MSPA Craft Challenge tutorials to make a scarf :B

If all else fails, ridiculous cards are always appreciated by people.

Hi. Okay so I need to make a spear for a character's weapon (they don't canonically have one so I designed one) but I don't know how to do the spearhead. Help?

From what I’ve seen, many people make spearheads out of foam (foam bricks, thick foam sheets, layered foam board). Cut or carve it into the correct shape and apply paper mache, paperclay, or bondo to make it rigid. Sand that smooth then paint and seal with a clear coat!
