Things I Couldn’t Say

Here— take my fears apart and put names to them, so I’ll know what I have is common, and I’m not alone in this.

hoping for plot twists while secretly fearing the blankness.

You ever wake up and feel your eyes all puffy and red. You think you slept well but you know you were up all night—lost in the thoughts of regrets and the missed possibilities?

Am I playing hide and seek?  A cosmic game with the Universe. Seems like I'm lost somewhere between the stars, hoping to be found by something I can't even see.

Blood fills our body more than tears they say, making it more precious. But why is it that men went to war for their families spill of blood but were not able to give answer for those whose tears were spilled because of that? Can't you hear the wind carrying the voices that are crying out loud saying- You take revenge for every ounce of blood drained, yet you cannot answer for our shed tears?

Simply looking at them. Touching them. Feeling them.

Like you just read their faces and know they don't get the same feel as you.And the situation is getting awkward..No?

The struggle is real.

Tried explaining the plot of this fav book to my friend, but all that came out were excited noises and flailing arms.Guess they'll just have to read it..😇🤷‍♀️

Sometimes the absence of blame makes the pain even harder to bear..

"Why do I always seem to finish a book in half an hour when I waited an entire year for it to come out? Now what do I do? Ugh--"
