Can I help ya?

We should get you some stronger cold medicine that will knock you out all night. Maybe some chest rub. I would love to apply that for you. [chuckles lowly, half-joking]

[amused smile] Well, if we ever do I’ll be sure to enlist your services in helping me apply it. Ya are quite good at that after all.

I’m just tired. You snore pretty loudly when you’re sick, you know.

Ahh, I see. I was worried for a moment.

He was right here, I swear it was just a minute ago… [there are drawings and crayons spread across the table, some of the drawings done by him] I must have fallen asleep…

Ya fell asleep? Are ya feeling alright, älskling?

[suddenly sits up straight and wipes some drool from the corner of his mouth] …Where did my son go?

I... what? I was about to ask ya if ya knew.

It’s too quiet for me and I barely see anybody anymore around here. 

Do ya want to go do something?

It’s been really quiet. 

It has been. It’s rather creepy...

Considering I didn’t really celebrate Christmas until the 1800s, the idea of traditions seems a little silly to me. [leads him to look at candy] I think Peter would like most candy…

[shrugs] It’s something that is familiar to me and yet it also is new at the same time... Ya know? [blinks as he remembers something] He does, but it probably would be best to not give a lot of chocolate... The lion thing?

[jabs Ber’s side playfully] Christmas purist… [once he finds a type of tree he likes, he locates a box with one in it and loads it into the cart] Alright, let’s go look for gift-type things.

[chuckles] Ya say that like it is a bad thing... [nods at the tree Andrei picked out, finding a box of sticks you can hang in the tree to make it smell like pine and adding it to the cart along with a purple tree skirt before giving a smile] Alright. This should be fun.

Alright, fine. I just don’t feel very comfortable with a real tree when we have two cats and two dogs around. [leads him over to look at the artificial trees. some of the more expensive ones look pretty realistic]

That makes sense, I just honestly don’t want to agree to something I have never seen before. [looks at the different trees curiously, noting that some indeed look very realistic] ...Okej, ya are right. They certainly look pretty real. I don’t think we need to worry about the ones that are pre-lit and I don’t like the ones that don’t look like real trees...

Umm… Tree skirt? And we never decided what kind of tree we should get.

Makes sense... [blinks] I... don’t want to agree to an artificial tree until I actually see what they look like... I’m still not completely sold but I want to at least see how it would compare...
