« I will try my best not to use them around you –we’re a very formal country, in Korea, so we’re just used to be very formal even with family members ever since birth. Like I said, we don’t do that to sound stuck up, it’s just how we show respect to each other. » 

For a moment, Lukas looked off, to the corner of the room, to look into the imaginary camera as if he were on The Office–just for dramatics. “I’m implying something sexual, without actually reaching the intercourse part. You know–foreplay? Do you need me to spell it out for you further?”

And you want to wait until the mood is right?” Questioned, before his teeth pressed down against the string, through cutting it in half, before handing it back to her. 

                colin accepted the string and looked at it for a while. ❝ i don’t really need or want your money, love. ❞ he said, putting the string between his teeth and cutting it in half within a second. ❝ you’ll just have to owe me an uncertain favor for future purposes. ❞ he shrugged and placed the divided string on top of the table.

                 it seemed like the girl was immune to any sarcastic whips colin could come up with, so he gave up, what was the use of starting a banter with someone who didn’t fire back. ❝ as much as i would love to help you. ❞ he wouldn’t. ❝ i don’t really do favors for free, love. ❞ or favors in general. 

“surely, there’s – “ her eyes turned to the metal handle that the other pointed out and grabbed it. “envelope cutter, but that will work.” liliana spied the sharp edge and then looked at colette with a c cautious grin. “you hold, i slice?” 

❝ hey, maybe i could teach you! it’s not as scary as it looks, i promise. ❞ the stables are a little ways behind the main manor, but it’s visible in the distance as soon as they step outside, and daeun leads the swiss princess down the little dirt path. ❝ i don’t know much about barn animals, ❞ she confesses somewhat sheepishly, ❝ and to be honest, i’d rather not look at animals that i eat. i love meat too much to deal with that kind of trauma. ❞ daeun greets the stable boy when they arrive but doesn’t stop to chat, leading colette straight to the foal, grabbing a small handful of hay from the feeding rack as they pass. ❝ hey daisy, ❞ she greets the young filly, offering some hay before reaching out to stroke her mane. ❝ i brought a friend today; her name’s colette. ❞

“I’ll agree to that now” Otto mused trailing behind the Swiss princess, taking his time to catch up. A small hum coming from him as he thought over his next words, and finally catching up with a smile “But in the moment, it might be the one who can’t run away fast enough. Being almost six and a half feet means I’ve got some long strides”

The male smirked, head tilted so delicately to the side. “I’ll be sure to be on scissor look out; who needs to work, right? Oh, I’d much rather bite you, but sure, hand it over–” Spoken playfully, as a hand reached out to offer for the string. 

isobella stops in her tracks as she is met with the other questioning her for scissors. “oh. i’m sorry, no i don’t. although i think they might have a couple in the kitchens, i believe? but it’s not childish at all. they look quite lovely, if you ask me. plus, you’re making use of your time and that’s more that what the others here are doing. at least you’re not moping around the manor and such.”

“Oh, sure, I always carry scissors on my person. How could I ever leave the house without them?” He’d questioned, his calm swagger coming through as he wandered through the entry to the room. “I could always try to cut it on my jaw, but playing up to my ego isn’t going to help either of us.”

lili only half noticed the other girl – far more bewildered that she’d asked for scissors. “you know, i di’n’t carry mine with me today. they ruined the line of my outfit,” she grinned as she crossed the room. “there’ve got to be some in this desk here.” rummaging through a drawer, it didn’t cross her mind that the task of making bracelets would be menial to some. 

                   ❝ can’t say i have one, love. ❞ colin let out a feign sigh of disappointment. ❝ why don’t ya just use the good ol’ clickers instead, they always do the trick. ❞ he clicked his teeth together. his suggestion more sarcastic than actual help.

              “the truth is nice to hear sometimes,” ursula hummed. when they entered colette’s room, ursula was immediately drawn to the cage. she looked through the little bars and cooed at the small animal. “oh, can i hold him?” she gasped excitedly. ursula opened the cage and gently picked up the guinea pig, cradling him in her palms.
