Sheâd been waiting for him, of courseâ she always waited for him- but eventually, her waiting turned into half-dozing, eyes closed and head lolling against the wall as she sat on his mattress with her legs curled up under her.Â
Hovering just on the bare edge of sleep, she didnât consciously hear the door open, but started to stir nonethelessâ and at the sound of his skull connecting with the floor, she scrambled upright almost on instinct, bolting out of the room and out into the hallway, staring around with confused blue eyes.Â
A startled shriek, and she clapped her hands over her mouth, running to his side and dropping to her knees.Â
âIzukuâŚ? Izuku-!! Oh, Izuku, pleaseâŚâÂ
Pulling him into her wings in a slumped sitting position, she cupped his face in her hands, gasping quietly as she felt how hot his skin was. She knew he hadnât been well recently, but thisâŚ! Why hadnât he told her?! Didnât he trust her? She just wanted to help him, and heâ heâŚÂ
Choking back a sob, she stroked his hair back gently, pressing her lips together tightly.Â
âIzuku, pleaseâ please, can you hear me? Are you alright? Oh, Izuku, youâ ohh, you poor thingâŚ!â
Izuku was out cold, but he wasnât out for long, bleary eyes opening again after about half a minute of solid unconsciousness. His head hurt, and he felt so dizzy⌠What was happeningâŚ? His eyes were unfocused as he looked up at Tutu, squinting as he tried to figure out what was going on, what she was saying. It took him a minute, but he realized he was on the floor and she was clearly worried, and he finally put two and two together - he mustâve passed out or something.
   âTutu, Iâm⌠Sorry for worrying you⌠Iâm alright, I just⌠I donât feel too good.â
He answered, though his words were slow and drawn out, like it was hard for him to form them at the moment. He sat up a little bit, clutching the back of his head with one hand. He wanted to get up, but the world was still spinningâŚ
âI should⌠Probably go lay down, huh?â
