We lose DKxCandy for the revival of CrankyxWrinkly (Cranky asked her out and she accepted). Cranky is the most confusing man to understand istg — he was the one to initiate the divorce, even moving out the family home and then he asks Wrinkly out 🫩 (HE EVEN MOVED BACK IN).

Ok, it was so hard to restrict myself to the MV’s color palette — especially with finding a color for her fur (I ended up blending the color of her skin and hair). It still didn’t work out as I had to slightly darken the colors but I still consider this a win!

I’ll still be making more art related to this idea, I just wanted to share this to compensate for my agony of figuring out Candy’s color palette here. ;—;

So Eddie and Swanky ended up having a daughter named Rowdy on my TL:LTD island, I would’ve drawn her but I’m down with a cold that’s giving me an awful headache. </3

With this new development, I’ve noticed that Swanky consistently has daughters (I’ll never forget Funky and his 5 daughters on my original TL island) and the most children out of everyone.

I swear Swanky is gonna have an army of kids if this keeps going. 😭

And I just really wanted to show that DK & Swanky are identical twins in my AU / interpretation so that’s why I drew DK. c:

I finally managed to watch Backrooms with my little sister, it was such a good movie! I’m so happy that I managed to avoid spoilers, IDK how I did this as I’m always spoiled with any potential movies I wanna watch lol.

I’m currently working on an animatic, I finally found a program I’m comfortable with. I’ve never felt so focused on something my whole life (it feels like I’m on a roll)!

I’m really happy with how it’s coming but seeing hours of work be shrunk down to two seconds (and I’m being generous here lol) makes me feel like:

In my TL:LTD island, K. Rool & Swanky got divorced (K. Rool initiated it) a few days ago. Swanky just got a crush on someone, it’s Eddie the Mean Old Yeti.

I’d never think to pair these two but strangely enough, I really like it………

And with this update, I just remembered I had a forgotten sketch related to these two (I feel like I should finish it now to celebrate this lol).

Do you think swanky walks in all fours some times? Or he's permantly two legged?

I think he’s in the group of being strictly bipedal with Candy and Tiny (maybe even Chunky? I assume he has a preference to walk bipedally (as seen in DK64) but I have a slight feeling that he occasionally walks on all fours).

Maybe he did walk quadrupedally as a kid but he quickly outgrew that habit. That’s my assumption / headcanon as it’s so hard for me to imagine him walking on all fours now lol (and it’d dirty his rings and I highly doubt he’d let that happen).

I think you can still have DK and Swanky be twins, just maybe a couple months younger than Funky and Candy instead of years. Like they were all born around the same time and just kinda gravitated towards each other since they were the only kids on the island at the time.

I was thinking about making Funky the youngest one out of the four but I really like this idea. :>

I randomly got hit with the idea of DK & Swanky being twins, and I’m not hating it?? The only con of this idea is Swanky would be older than Funky and Candy. :/

And I simply refuse to believe that he’s older than any of them!!

Last night, I finally played Deltarune — I’m so upset that I haven’t gotten into this game much sooner, it’s right up my alley! I mean, I knew the game’s existence back in 2018 but it never really grabbed my interest then (I regret not checking it out now </3).

I almost spent my entire night playing Deltarune but it was so worth it (I think I was up ‘til 3 am, this definitely won’t have consequences later on).
