coldest swim of my life

My sunrise solo self portrait shoot in Croatia consisted of a 4am 40 minute walk through jagged limestone rocks to get to the very tip of the peninsula. The tide was coming in fast, gradually covering me with warm waves for my 4 second interval timer. I’m a little bruised and beaten, but I think another sunrise calls my name. Croatia is my motherland and my Heaven.

In nature, I remember what freedom feels like. The quiet joy of being fully present.
