By now I'm sure everyone has seen the horrific photo of the young Syrian boy, Aylan Kurdi washed up on a Turkish beach. The ongoing situation across Europe is a human crisis. The important word being human & we must all do our part to help these poor people risking their lives everyday in a bid to find safety. A life without war, dictatorial oppression or religious extremism. I am proud of Scottish Labour & Kez Dugdale taking a stand & showing people how they can help but it's important that this isn't about party politics, most Scottish parties have called for us to be doing more. Including Scottish Tory leader Ruth Davidson. Scottish FM Nicola Sturgeon has said Scotland is ready to play it's part, Councils across Scotland are getting ready to help & Welsh FM Carwyn Jones has said Wales is ready too. It's time David Cameron did the same.
