I dunno how about you, but I understand from it that Allan grew up in a rich family, but it appears that he didn't like it, so he ditched it, which is being symbolised with him exploding the mansion. But what would be a reason for it? Perhaps despite all his riches he couldn't find happiness? Usually rich people care a lot about the rules and behaviors, so maybe that was the case - he was getting overwhelmed by them. Plus, notice how in Glep Ep his father appreciates his manners, like if it was important for him. Coincidence?

But here's the thing: His father/son relationship is very good. So why would Allan ditch his family like this? Or maybe it wasn't his entire family? Notice how Allan's father is here, but not his mother. Where is she? Is she dead? Or maybe... she was in charge of all of this? Maybe SHE cared about the rules so much and was a reason her son (and potentially husband) left her? This is why they didn't think of even inviting her for dinner, because they simply had a bad relationship with her (that still doesn't change the fact she might be dead tho).

In a nutshell: Allan was in a rich family but had mommy issues, so he abandoned it.
