Good afternoon. My name is Suzuki Kimi. It's a pleasure to meet you.

I am 17 years old as of July 14, and I alternate between using she, they, and it pronouns. Please feel free to ask me whatever pronouns I'd prefer to use on any specific day.

I will admit, I most likely won't be very active on this blog. I understand you all have questions, but I have a lot of school work to work on. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have, but you'll see more activity from my unit mates than me.

Suki felt so, so lucky.

She had been expecting her confession to go.. awkwardly, at the very least, but it ended up going very well! She had a partner now! She had Kimi!

Though, now she had a ton of things to think about. And she knew Kimi probably had some things to think about too. She figured a first date could help with that, and plus, who wouldn't want to go on a date with someone as cute as Kimi?

She thought about it for a while, and eventually decided a picnic would be good. It was chill, and it would be just the two of them! Suki prided herself on the idea before shooting Kimi a quick text.

Just like Suki, Kimi was also rather surprised that the confession went the way that it did. Even if she still didn't understand much of what it meant to have a partner or dates or anything of similar meaning, she wasn't going to complain. Especially when she had Suki to help her.

Speaking of which, Kimi had simply been reading on her bed when Suki had texted. They put their book down beside them, reading over the text. A faint warmth spread across their cheeks and they felt their heart beat faster, but they knew what it meant now. And it wasn't as worrisome of a feeling as before.

Right. When was it free for a picnic? It briefly closed the messaging app, scrolling over to its calendar before reading over its schedule. It was actually free that afternoon, surprisingly! Now, to text Suki. . .

<I am free this afternoon, if that works with you. And don't worry, I understood what you meant. I am also curious about a few things, and would enjoy talking to you about them. Love you, too. ❤️>

Suki read the words on her screen and immediately grinned, giggling to herself as she started typing back.

Suki sits up and starts getting ready, putting her hair up into a side pony and securing it with a bow. She worked quickly on her makeup. Then, once the right time came, she practically ran out the door, bringing a bag of strawberry sandwiches and some other snacks. The blanket she brought was basically shoved in.

When she makes it there, she lays the blanket down on the grass and simply waits for Kimi, fidgeting a bit with her legs.

Kimi smiles at the text, before getting up and rummaging through her outfits. She wanted to find something nice, especially since this was technically their first date. . . But what to wear, what to wear?

They eventually decide on a simple white polka-dot dress, red cardigan, white socks, and brown shoes, happily examining the look in the mirror. It wasn't the fanciest look they've ever worn, but they felt cute.

It just hoped Suki thought so, too. . .

After applying just a little bit of eye shadow and a faint pink lip, she grabs some simple fruit teas and water, putting them into a bag before heading to the park. She made it after some time, looking around for Suki. She spots her after some time, sitting down next to her and gently tapping her shoulder.

Hello, my rose. It is good to see you. They smile, smoothing out their dress as they sit. Do. . . Do you like my dress? I spent a lot of time picking it out for today.

Suki glanced over as she was tapped, eyes widening at the sight of Kimi. She broke out into a huge grin, hugging them without even thinking about it.. she then pulled away immediately.

Eek, sorry! You just look so cute today. Of course I like your dress~ It looks so good on you! Anyway, I'm really glad you could come. Here!

She scrambles through her bag, opening a container and handing Kimi a sandwich and a napkin. Your makeup is looking really good, too. I hope you like the food. I brought other things just in case, though.

Kimi briefly flinches at the hug, a little unsure of what to do. However, as Suki starts pulling away, she pulls her back in for a brief (albeit stiff) hug of her own. She parts from her after a second, her usual small smile on her face.

It's alright, my rose. And thank you. I wanted to look my best for today. Especially since this is our first date. They fall silent as Suki starts going through the bag, their eyes in that doll-like stare before they're offered the sandwich.

Thank you again. I know it's not much, but I wished to attempt something. It takes the sandwich and napkin, placing it on it's lap before pulling it's bag over. And I like this, but thank you for offering something different. And here. It opens the bag, showing off the drinks it brought. Feel free to grab what you like.

Suki was a little thrown off by the hug and noticed the stiffness, but she appreciated it anyway. She just pat its back before leaning back.

Hehe, you look great. I'll glad you wanted to dress up and whatnot~ Just know I find you very cute, dressed up or not. But, if it's what you want to do, then who am I to stop you?

Suki takes a sip of her tea with a hum. Ah, I see. Don't worry about needing to bring things, silly. It's not an obligation or anything. But thank you for them, they taste really good!

She perks up, adjusting how she was seated. Yes! Okay, hmm.. I just wanted to talk about, like, preferences and stuff. Boundaries, what you're okay with and what not. 'Cause I never ever wanna make my doll uncomfortable.. I want you to actually like being around me.

Suki chuckles. I know you're more adverse to physical touch, but do you know what you do like? Acts of service, words of affirmation.. honesty, doesn't even need to be a love language. And I also know you're more inexperienced, so it's okay if you don't know. And I also don't say that to be mean, sorry..

I also know it's not an obligation, but I wanted to. Especially because these are some of my favorite teas. And you're welcome. If I were to make a recommendation, I'd take the berry tea I have currently. It's been my favorite since I was small.

Ah, it's probably the pomegranate! It's really yummy~ Suki adjusts herself so Kimi could be more comfortable, holding their waist close. And, yeah.. it can be. I'll talk! Ahem!

She thinks about it for a moment. I like it when my partners offer to do things that I hate. Obviously I know that I need to do things I don't like! But hearing that my partner did it for me, especially on days where I feel like a walking zombie, it's like, totally sweet! Like, for example, I really hate washing dishes, it just makes me wanna gag. And my hands get all dry afterwards somehow, it really sucks! So if I'm having a rough day and I hear that somebody already did it, I'm literally jumping for joy.

I'll keep that in mind for the future, then. Kimi replies with a hum, comfortably resting on Suki's lap. She stays quiet after speaking, simply listening to her partner speak.

I understand that. We all have our low days, and hearing someone helped us with something we tend to not like? It's. . . Nice. I'll be sure to keep that in mind. They fall quiet again, thinking on something. I think. . . I think I like that. That, and I also like when someone is patient with me. It's something simple and expected usually, I know, but with my emotions and thoughts, its nice to have someone who takes time to ask about them. And be patient when I attempt to explain, even if it's not the clearest.

As for dates. . . Well, I much prefer things like this. Simple picnics, walks in the park, libraries and bookstores, quiet cafés. However, I can see how that would be. . . Boring to some. Especially in such a high-energy world like the one we live in. But, what about you?

Yes, I can see why that seems to be, as you say, 'so me'. Just as how I can associate you with high-energy places. But, yes, I would prefer to avoid clubs for dates. Just as you said, it can be overwhelming and public, and I'm not too fond of all the noise that comes with it. I wouldn't mind karaoke, though, in-between some of the quieter dates. At least, depending on how much energy I have on a certain day.

Eijirou was definitely less energetic too, but she didn't want to just accidentally rat Daisuke out.. Ayaka's getting better at keeping up with us, but she's naturally pretty shy and whatnot. I call her Shrimpy sometimes. But, anyway, yeah, I'm usually good at handling the energy but sometimes I just need to chill out.

Well, that will most certainly be interesting. I believe Arthur set up this one to keep our skills sharp, but I wouldn't be surprised if he also did it because he's already looking at haunted attractions hiring people for this Halloween. He always works haunted attractions around that time of year.

When she makes it there, she lays the blanket down on the grass and simply waits for Kimi, fidgeting a bit with her legs.

They eventually decide on a simple white polka-dot dress, red cardigan, white socks, and brown shoes, happily examining the look in the mirror. It wasn't the fanciest look they've ever worn, but they felt cute.

Suki had already known how she was feeling for a while. She was someone who tended to dive head first into these things, but Kimi felt.. different, from the rest. She didn't want to accidentally ruin anything, especially since she really enjoyed their company and wanted to help it figure out who they were and what they liked.

But.. it was getting harder to hide. Especially because she gave Kimi a fat kiss on the cheek the last time they met. What a genius move..

Ever since that happened, Suki felt like she had to say something before it boiled over and she did something stupid. She had managed to find a time to meet with Kimi, waiting at a nearby park on the swings. Not the most romantic place.. or serious place either, but she couldn't think of anywhere else.

Kimi, on the other hand, was still so, SO confused by what she was feeling. The tingly, happy feeling in her chest, the random thoughts relating to Suki that made her heart beat faster. That, and the kiss that she put onto her cheek and the one she returned onto her knuckles didn't help the confusion. She didn't get it. She tried asking some of her friends, but just couldn't put the feelings into words.

And it was driving them a bit mad.

So, when Suki asked it to meet her at the park, it decided to go. Maybe ask her about what was happening with it. She seemed to understand this stuff better than it. So, off to the park it went, Kimi thankfully finding Suki on the swings after some time.

Suki's eyes widened as Kimi shared how she was feeling. Somehow, even with her anxious thoughts, she could tell it was being genuine. She smiles wide and chuckles, hopefully not coming across as mean.

..Kimi? Suki speaks up once they're done talking, grabbing one of it's hands and holding it gently. She wasn't sure if it wanted a hug, so this would do for now. No. I mean, obviously I can't speak for the future, but.. I don't think I'd ever be annoyed at you, Kimi, especially not for something like that. If learning is what I have to do, then.. I'll learn. Her thoughts were still a confused blur, but she didn't try to immediately sort them out for once. Instead, she nods, gingerly moving off her swing and shuffling over to Suki, firmly hugging her once she was in front of her.

The tears hiding behind their eyes finally began to spill, their hands still shaking. I. . . I adore you, Suki. And I want to be ever at your side. Suki got up from the swing and sat down right in front of it, bringing Kimi with her as she hugged her close. Oddly enough, she felt so proud of the other for finding this out.

She smiles softly at the kiss, cupping Kimi's cheek and carefully wiping the tears away. Of course I will, silly. Thank you for letting me in. She then leans in, pressing their lips together softly as if Kimi would shatter if she handled it in any other way.

Kimi quietly yelps at being brought down into the sit-hug, but she's not complaining in the slightest. Her emotions were still all over the place, and Suki's touch was. . . Grounding. That word seemed to fit, so that's what she stuck with. It was grounding, and made her feel safe and warm. Hesitantly, she hugs Suki back, briefly hiding her face in the other's neck before adjusting herself to meet Suki's eyes.

They lean gently into Suki's hand, humming in content as their tears were wiped away. You're welcome, Suki. And thank you for. . . Well, I can't think of a simpler way to say this, all that you've done for me so far. They were about to say more, but the gentle kiss to their lips cut them off. It took them a second to register what was happening, but they eventually relax a bit, kissing Suki back and slowly draping their arms over her shoulders.

Suki mumbled a small apology, just holding the other close and not really thinking of anything other than how Kimi felt in her arms. When it looks up, she brushes their hair out of their face.

She hums against their lips, rubbing their side as they shared a kiss. She eventually pulls away slightly, giggling to herself. You know I got you. No need to thank me~

Kimi let's out a little sigh when Suki pulls away from the kiss, quietly laughing to herself as well. I'm aware, and I appreciate it. But, still, I want to thank you for it. Especially since I'm not exactly. . . Easy to understand? But you do. That makes me quite happy.

That, and the kiss. . . Apologies if I, as they say, 'ruin the moment', but that felt. . . Electric. I have butterflies in my stomach, and everything feels all light and fuzzy. They move one of their hands to caress Suki's cheek, the other arm still draped over her shoulder. May I do it again, my rose?

They also laugh at Suki's over-the-top actions, that happy fuzzy feeling in their heart. Without another word, they gently press their lips to hers, mimicking the way she kissed them earlier.

I don't know how to describe it, but I think I like being held, especially by you, my rose. However, don't feel like you have to say yes. I understand if you wish to do something else.

Suki adjusts herself so Kimi could cuddle as close as she wanted, lips tingling slightly after the kisses. God, that was wonderful..
