When you feel like it's not going anywhere, take a step back and reflect. Reflect why the other person responded the way he/she did. Was it something you said? The way you expressed your body? Reflect how it went and what went through your mind and body. What's being said and done can't be taken back, so be careful with your words. Think before you response, and think before you react. I know our thoughts and feelings easily cover our vision, but grip on yourself and take a step back.
