Barrett Firearms is taking part in the developing lineup of gun professionals who are disapproving to do just about any business with Nyc, involving police in the region.

Barrett has had a quite similar plan in position for The Sunshine State ever since they disallowed Barrett's.50 caliber firearms.

Here is part of Ronnie Barrett's open letter to New York State.

"Barrett opposes those who are illegally disarming the American public from their efficient arms and creating superior armed elitist government agencies.".

Voted state representatives of New York, having been sworn to protect the Constitution, have actually committed an offense opposing it and their people simply by robbing natural civil rights properly covered and secured under the Second Amendment. By their scrupulous as well as unlucky steps, those representatives now cause their state along with local policing agencies to execute these unconstitutional and illegal so called "laws.".

By up-to-date law, Barrett can not be an ally with any law offender, consequently, can not and will not service or sell to New York government agencies. Barrett also uses this position to the specific selected official who, as a matter of public record, has voted for or created law that offends the constitutional rights of their civilians. This is an expansion of our 2002 ban against the California government because of their Second Amendment breaches, and will regard all future lawbreakers.

During global history there have been officials that strip inalienable rights from the folks that were given to all by our Creator. Many of these officials certainly come to lawsuit, a few do not.

Purposefully going against constitutional rights by officials that have sworn to uphold them should have hard prison sentences.

With the clear vision of awful events in history repeating itself, all companies of weapons or related tools continuing being in collaboration with such wrongdoers should have a concern of being found with the guilty on their day of trial.

According to cnsnews.com, since February 1, 2009 there have been over 65 Million background checks for gun purchases in the United States.

That number is probably a good bit lower than the actual number of guns sold though since many states allow purchasers to show their state carry permit to purchase a gun without a background check and one background check can be good for multiple guns.

To put that into perspective, that is enough guns to arm all of the of residents Alabama, South Carolina, Louisiana, Kentucky, Oregon, Oklahoma, Connecticut, Iowa, Mississippi, Arkansas, Kansas, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, West Virginia, Nebraska, Idaho, Maine, New Hampshire, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, Vermont, District of Columbia*, and Wyoming.

That number is close to double the number of weapons sold in G.W. Bush’s first term as president (34,214,066).
