I have seen an uptick in an Ingsoc that resembles more the image of BBā¦ While Ingsoc realicide *IS* BB, he is *ALSO* the party and its will, the manifestation of the double-thinking ideology of English Socialism.
Him, as an unseen figure (not appearing as the man he configured to exact his will) being an unhealthful (malnourished/sickly, unrested) older gentleman is perfect to me. It supplements itself as a parallel to the conversation held between Winston and Oābrien in the miniluv, in which the latter comments on his own age and fragility, his appearance as so delicately mortal.

On the counterpoint, Big Brother is an unreal concept within the confines of the 1984 universe, and the offcompass ideological counterpart himself is unable to exist in reality. Why not allow him the visage of his power? Doublethink. I do not believe the partyās power is in PHYSICAL strength (strength lays in ignorance after all), much sanitization of thought is perpetuated through FEAR. As Oābrien saysā¦

Just my nineteen dollars and 84 cents on the topic, I still do love the fanart where ingsoc IS more resembling BB as it is beautyful and is a very generous worshipping to his ideology, this is not my haterism.
