I never wanted to express the innate feelings of warmth I had for you. We chatted a lot through text because I never had the guts to spark a convo in real life. I miss every moment of it if I’m being completely honest. You had a side to yourself that was different from everyone else, you had true beauty. I’m going to be honest, I was attracted by your appearance at first, but I later found out that there was a lot more to you that I have yet to see in anyone else since. You were so passionate yet so compressed. And through all of that I felt for you and realized that I needed you just as much as you needed me. Your late night venting allowed for me to grow and see that there’s beauty in the struggle. You were the beauty in the struggle with depression and anxiety. I know that since we’ve grown apart and you’ve morphed into this magnificent and powerful being I’ve come to know as D....; like no other. Thank you for being you and being the friend I could’ve never imagined. I’d ask you out sometime, but I think you’re interested in someone far more different than I. Despite that, I wish you the best in life and beyond. And I hope that you never see this because this is my soul speaking, and I don’t want you to see this pathetic gesture.
