This livestream really showed, once again, why BTS as a whole (although in this case Jungkook specifically) are such pioneers and the voice of a generation. Jungkook was vulnerable, honest, true to himself. Something we are never allowed to see anymore and he was willing to share it with us on a random wednesday during what will be one of the busiest months in a long long time. He spoke freely, wanting to connect with ARMY like he used to in the early days when barely anyone was giving them the time of day. Why oh why are we trying to silence people's voices and twist them into something heinous and blatantly false?
We saw this man (yes, MAN) grow up from a small teenager into a young adult. He went through all the phases and did so politely and quietly because it was expected of him. During the hiatus he finally got a sense of freedom to find himself, travelling and enjoying life to its fullest. This is the second time within DAYS I've heard people saying "an idol shouldn't act like this" about a member of BTS. Guess what? They are people first. That's what everyone fell in love with when they first got into BTS. Weren't we praising them for being open in their music and talking about things nobody else was willing to? What changed?
Please, for the love of everything unholy, let them (and ANY idol for that matter) just be themselves. They've worked hard, they have forfeited their personal identities for YEARS. They are HUMAN. They are BTS.

A/N: Annyeong! Happy New Year’s Eve, everyone! This has been in the works since July. Over half a year, countless of sleepless hours, planning and dozens cups of tea/coffee went into this baby, and now it’s finally out. The first installment to a short-ish series (hey, this is already almost 10k, it’s not really that short). I have a lot of future plans for this, so I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I did writing it.
Genre: Body Switch!AU; Namjoon x Reader; Smut; FemMC; Crack; Yup, it’s one of these again. How 2 label, amirite.
Summary: When you go out with your best friend to a party for the hottest celebrities in town, you thought you would only take home a guy’s number. But instead, you woke up in your high school bully’s bed the next morning with an even worse surprise waiting for you the second you opened your eyes.

Part 1
“Y/N-ah! You need to get dressed. Now.” Your best friend, Seoyeon, demanded through the phone, her voice changing from excited to completely serious within a split second.
“But… I’m already comfortable, Seoyeon-ie.” You pouted, completely curled up in a blanket on the couch of your shared living room, watching trashy shows on your TV.
“What if I told you there is a party with some of the hottest celebs in town happening right now?” The level of eagerness rose at a rapid speed and you could hear her smiling from ear to ear in her tone.
“These kinds of parties happen all the time. I’m not getting dressed to watch people I don’t care about shoving their generosity in my face on TV.” Your hand was poking through the cocoon you had created to grab into the bag of chips in front of you, before a handful of them landed in your mouth.
“Well,” she added a pause for dramatic effect, “what if you could see those people in person?”
“Not interefted. Nife try vough.” You happily chewed on the meal you called dinner.
“But think about all the cute guys you could go home with!”
Curiosity got the better of you and you immediately sat up straight as you raised an eyebrow. “I’m liphening.”
Thrilled to hear your response, she let out a happy squeal. “Just get dressed and move your sweet butt Downtown. I’ll send you the address.”
And just like that, she hung up and you had to cancel your plans to binge an entire season of your favourite show.
You quickly stood up from your spot, unraveling yourself from your cage in the process, only to head towards the shower right after and hastily started up on your routine to get ready.
A/N: Hey hey! Let me start this off by saying: I never thought I’d be here either. Vamp AUs were always something I was shying away from and refused to write. Admittedly, it was mainly because of the stigma Twilight brought to the Vampire genre in general. It kind of ruined it for me for a very, VERY, long time. So, why did I end up writing this prologue in a genre I never wanted to write for in the first place? Well, I simply thought “Fuck Stephenie Meyer, her shitty sparkling blood suckers and her ridiculously ripped wolf bois. I’ll make my own.” So, I sat down for a long-ass time, looked at the different vampires current media has to offer, and did just that. Giving you that big head’s up: If you think “Hey, I’ve seen that behaviour in XYZ before!” I can already tell you, you probably have (with very few exceptions), and I’m not claiming any of those ideas as my own. I just wanted to have some fun with it.

Prologue
It all started on a normal Friday night. No, it wasn’t just a normal Friday night. You could’ve gone so far as to call it a boring one. You had finished work an hour prior and were about to contemplate which show you should binge for the umpteenth time for the rest of the weekend. But, as luck would have it, you received a call from Yoona, one of your closest friends since starting at your company.
“Say you’re my bitch.” She demanded; a wide grin noticeable in her sultry low voice.
“I’m your bitch?” You raised an eyebrow, confusion written all over your face.
“Yeah, you are.” She laughed out loud at your response. “Guess who got the latest gossip on the next up-and-coming club in town?”
“Oh god which one is it this time?” you rolled your eyes. It wasn’t as if you didn’t enjoy hanging out with your friends at a club, especially after a full workweek, but usually whenever Yoona suggested a new club, the night didn’t quite end the way you would have liked.
“You remember where club Velvet used to be? They’ve opened up a new place there called The Empire! It’s in the prime location for nightlife, so it has to be good!” How good could the location really be when the previous club didn’t even last a full year?
“And now you want me to get my ass ready. Gotcha.” You got off your couch and started going towards your closet as you continued your conversation. “Have you told Jiwoo yet?”
“Yeah, you know how she is. She was whining about having to take care of her boss’ dog over the weekend.” You could hear things clattering onto a tile floor on the other end. She undoubtedly was getting ready to go out. “Can you believe that guy? Can’t he just hire someone else to take care of the pup while he’s away like a normal person would?” as per usual, she started getting side-tracked with her hatred for the most influential person at your workplace. Nobody liked him, especially not Jiwoo who worked as his personal assistant, but Yoona made sure she voiced her disdain for him the loudest. “But, to get back to your question, obviously she’ll come for at least a few drinks!”
“Ugh, fine.” You sighed as you squeezed your phone between your ear and shoulder and sifted through the hangers in your closet. “If you managed to bully Jiwoo into going, I guess I have no choice.” In response you heard a delighted squeal on the other end of the call. “I’ll see you in about two hours.” And with that, you threw your phone on the bed and continued your search.

---
After you had a quick shower, decided on a beautiful, a little revealing, skin-tight red dress and finished your make-up, you wrote a quick message to your friends and met up with them at the – supposedly – new hottest club in town: The Empire.
"Look at you flaunting what your momma gave ya!" Yoona let out a whistle when she laid eyes on you. She was a slim, yet beautifully curvy, woman; her fiery red hair screaming at the world to look at her and the short dark green dress complimenting the warm undertones of her skin.
"Oh, this old thing?" you playfully waved her off, before deciding to pose for your girls. One hand on your hips, the other seductively running through your hair and still making sure your butt and cleavage were the main attraction. Work it, honey. "But look at yourselves all dolled up! I might take you home if none of the guys will." You winked at both of them.
"I appreciate your compliment, but I want to make clear I really can't stay too long. I need to make sure the director's dog gets another walk in before the end of the night." Both Yoona and you rolled your eyes at Jiwoo. Jiwoo was sporting an oversized cream blazer, matching long dress pants, light blue bandeau, paired with a casual pale plateau sneaker and her square black rimmed glasses emphasising her beautiful pale skin. She had always been the responsible one, ever since high school. Someone had to be and you loved her for it. "What? I can't just drop my duties. No matter how much I hate Mr. Kim. And the dog is the least to blame here."
"Someone really needs to kick that gorgeous jerk's ass for treating you like this." Yoona exclaimed, her fists balled up and ready to fight anyone that would cross her friend. Except for your boss, because she loved her job too much and clearly had her eyes on him beyond a professional level. But naturally, she would never admit that out loud.
The three of you continued with idle chitchat for another fifteen minutes while waiting in line until you were eventually quickly let through by the bouncer.
When you finally stepped inside the building, you could already hear the loud music blasting into the dark entrance area. But right as you had set foot inside the club, you felt like someone was watching your every move. It was as if you had stepped into the lion's den, only without knowing he even existed. You looked around and everyone seemed to have a good time. They were drinking, dancing, laughing, people were hitting on each other and got rejected. Everything seemed normal, except for the lingering feeling of uneasiness. Maybe it was just your mind playing tricks on you?
"Let's get our drink on before we hit the dancefloor." Yoona winked at you two and pointed at the bar. Both Jiwoo and you quickly nodded in agreement and manoeuvred your way through dancing couples and other groups of people that were most definitely many drinks into the night already.
It wasn't that difficult for you to get noticed by the bartender. How could you? You were a triplet of gorgeous young women and it probably helped a lot that Yoona turned her charm on the second she made eye contact with the man by showing him a bedazzling smile and sultry eyes.
---
After your second round of drinks and about an hour on the dancefloor, you decided it was time for a break. You split up from the group and found an empty stool at the bar and the second you sat down, you released your feet from their cage. Even a wedged heel can only save you for so long.
As you were rubbing your painful feet, the bartender approached you with a glass of champagne. "Oh, I didn't order this." You tried to wave him off.
"This is an invite from Mr. Jung for you and your friends to join him in the VIP Lounge." At the mention of his name, you nonchalantly glanced over your shoulder to where the man had pointed and noticed him right away through the big glass windows of the VIP area. His back was turned towards you and his arms were casually draped over the backrest of a black sofa as he was sipping on his drink. Jung Hoseok.
Anyone that had spent only a few hours in your city's nightlife had heard about him at least once. A young self-made millionaire – though the specifics on just how he did it were unclear – that was as popular as he was good looking. With all the women in the world constantly throwing himself at him, why did he have his eyes on you though? As you turned your head back you could've sworn that, out of the corner of your eye, you thought you saw a cocky smile as he took a sip of his drink. Did he notice your glance?
When you tried to ask the bartender for further explanation, he was already gone to continue his job elsewhere. As you furrowed your brows and spun around again towards the VIP Lounge, contemplating the offer, Hoseok was nowhere to be found. What a truly strange night this already was.
"Is everything alright, Y/N?" Jiwoo had approached you unnoticed while you were deep in thought and apparently looked like it as well.
"No...? Yes...? I don't know?" You stammered and the confusing thoughts made every reply sound like a question. "So... Jung Hoseok invited us to the VIP area?"
"Oh my god! We have to go over and talk to him!" Yoona had also snuck up on you and quickly joined the conversation.
"I don't know... This was supposed to be a girls' night out and we only just got here and –" It wasn't as if you weren't interested in him, but your intuition had been going haywire ever since you had entered the club. You just had this feeling something was not quite right.
"I'm not taking no for an answer! This is Jung Hoseok we're talking about here. Any woman would sell her soul for his attention! And if you're not interested, then there's more for me." Yoona winked as she linked her arm with yours and dragged you away from the bar, directly into your first grave mistake that night.
You took a deep breath before the three of you confidently strutted towards the VIP area where you were met with another bouncer.
"Sorry, VIPs only." He said in a firm tone, arms crossed in front of his chest.
"We're here to see Jung Hoseok." Yoona took the lead, excited like a small child in a candy store.
"There are a lot of people that want to speak to Mr. Jung and he's a very busy man. I'm afraid I can't just let you through."
Before any of you could open your mouth again, Hoseok was suddenly standing right beside the man and put his hand on his shoulder. When did he get there? "It's alright, Hyun, they're with me." Hoseok gave him a crooked smile as he glanced between the man and your group, before looking directly at you with hooded eyes and winked.
"Sorry, of course, Mr. Jung." The man quickly stepped away from the door.
As soon as the bouncer was out of your way, Hoseok took your hand in his and left a small peck on it. His skin was incredibly smooth and the faintly cool touch startled you ever so slightly. "After you, gorgeous." He winked at you again, waiting patiently for you to step inside the VIP area and following you closely as you walked up the flight of stairs.
You immediately noticed the sound from the loud music downstairs being muffled as the door closed behind you, and the same song playing through a different speaker at a much more conversation friendly volume in the lounge itself. "Would you girls like a drink?" Hoseok gestured for your group to sit down next to two blindingly gorgeous men and you were wondering if there had been some kind of big modelling event going on in town.
"Such a gentleman." Yoona had no trouble making herself comfortable. Especially not when her company consisted of her two best friends, free alcohol and a variety of handsome men ripe for the picking.
"I thought it was just going to be us guys tonight, Hoseok." The short man with the silver-ish grey hair spoke up as soon as Yoona sat down next to him, paying her no mind. You could see the panic and uneasiness in his eyes when she started hungrily letting her fingers dance up and down his strong thighs.
"Oh, we didn't mean to make any trouble for –" You were quickly cut off by Hoseok when he took your hand in his and left a gentle peck on the back of it, before looking up at you with his strikingly deep brown eyes that showed an intense hunger for you. But before either of you could say anything, the third man spoke up.
"Could you please wait with your flirting until everyone has decided what we're going to do now?" he stood up from his seat and only then did you realise how slender and tall he really was. He adjusted his glasses as he stood in front of Jiwoo and held out his hand. "Please excuse my ignorant companions. My name is Kim Namjoon. It's a pleasure to meet you, miss...?"
"Song Jiwoo." With a pleased smile she mimicked his movements, pinched the temple of her glasses to move them to a more comfortable position with one hand and shook his hand with the other like a true professional.
"See, everyone is getting along splendidly. You don't want to spoil the fun, do you, Jimin?" Hoseok directed his question towards the short man and as he spoke, he had already dragged you along to sit on the couch with him and put an arm around your shoulder with a big toothy smirk.
"Of course not." Jimin sighed as he delicately picked up Yoona's hand and moved it off of him with a gentle smile.
As soon as everything was settled, everyone had quickly paired up and got lost in their own conversations. Jiwoo with Namjoon, Yoona with Jimin and you with the Jung Hoseok. The man that practically owned the nightlife in this area.
"So, gorgeous," his index finger was drawing slow circles on your upper arm, sending shivers down your spine. "Would you like to tell me your name or do you intend to stay mysteriously beautiful for the rest of the night?"
"Y-Y/N." you stammered, entranced by his smooth face so close to yours.
"Of course, such a charming lady with an even more alluring name." He gave you a crooked smile as he stared seductively into your eyes and with a snap of his fingers, a waiter rushed towards you with an expensive looking bottle of champagne and two glasses. But something still felt wrong. You wanted to free your gaze from his, but you simply couldn't. It was as if he wouldn't let you, as if he physically forced you to look at him. But that wasn't the case. Your eyes were completely fixated on his. They were dark brown with a golden circle around the iris, filled with a desire you had never seen before, captivating you in a prison they had created. He never stopped looking at you, not even while he handed you one of the glasses and clinked them together. "To an unforgettable night." He had a devious smirk on his face as he took a sip of his drink.
You started to feel a tingle in your stomach that only seemed to get more intense the longer you looked at him, his smile unwavering as you felt the heat in your body rise up and your blood seemingly starting to boil. It wasn't painful whatsoever, but it felt unnatural. As you looked closer, the golden circle in his eyes started glowing for just a second, before they went back to normal – or was that just your imagination?
"Listen, Y/N," he said in a deep, almost hungry, voice as he put his drink down and finally stopped looking at you. "I'm going to get straight to the point." When you could move freely again, you started feeling dizzy. It was like you were drunk for more and you didn't even know what it actually was you needed more of. Saying you were confused was the understatement of the year. "We're both extremely attractive people," with one more lustful gaze he moved in closer to your ear as he spoke in a low raspy voice "and I want to see those pretty lips of yours wrapped around my dick." He sighed, sending goosebumps all over your body. "I want you screaming my name until the sun comes up and then never see each other again." As the words left his lips, an image flashed before your eyes for just a split second, but you could see the scene play out in front of you as clear as daylight. It was the image of him, completely naked, on top of your quivering body. Sweat was dripping down from the dishevelled hair on his forehead onto the pillow below you and you were digging your fingernails into his defined shoulder blades as he buried his thick cock deep inside your pussy. The thought alone sent shivers down your spine and the tingling in your stomach returned. "The only thing I need to know is: Your place or mine?"
Before you could even answer his question, he suddenly started nibbling on your ear as the image in front of your eyes showed up yet again, making you quietly moan in pleasure as you leaned closer into him. You had to admit, he was hot, crazy hot. The confidence he exuded was hot, the way he talked was hot and now, so were you. Literally. You felt like you were burning up inside, your body heat rising once again as his bites continued down to your neck. He found just the right spot, the sensitive bit of skin on your neck screaming as he nibbled on the same area over and over again going back and forth between soft, sloppy gnaws to lustful and hungry bites that sent pure desire to your brain. You wanted him and he wanted you, that much was extremely clear to both of you, but something still didn't feel right.
You pulled yourself away from him and left Hoseok with a confused expression on his face. "I'm sorry, I don't usually do this kind of thing." You said as you tried to regain your breath. "I should probably go." No, this really felt wrong and your intuition told you to get out. Quick. Within a split-second Jiwoo was on high alert and reflexively shifted her focus from her partner to you and Hoseok.
"Is there nothing I can do to change your mind?" he said in an almost sickly-sweet voice as his eyes pierced yours once again. The smile on his face as he moved closer towards you slowly made your body mimic his movements, as if you were drawn to his being and something inside made you feel like you just needed to go to him. "If it's money you want; I've got plenty of that. I'm sure you have a couple of bills to pay that could all go away with one night you'll never forget."
But just like that, it was as if the spell was broken. "Excuse me?" you stopped in your tracks, furious at his offer.
"Everybody has a price, princess, and I just want to know yours." He produced a check book out of the pocket of his blazer and started writing down a number. By the time you realised he genuinely meant what he had said, he was already standing before you, check in hand and waving it in front of your face. "This could be yours, if you will give yourself to me." The check had an unbelievable, once in a lifetime sum written on it and it could have been yours if you wanted. But you didn't.
You took the check and ripped it to pieces right in front of him. "Not a chance in hell." You turned on your heels and left him standing dumbfounded, without giving him another chance to speak as you left the VIP area without a word.
When the door closed behind you, it almost immediately reopened as a worried Jiwoo and a slightly disappointed Yoona hurried after you.
"What exactly happened just now?" Jiwoo put a hand on your shoulder as you descended the stairs, trying to calm your – very obviously – foul mood.
"Fuck Jung Hoseok." With quick steps you b-lined for the bar.
"I thought that was the plan?" Yoona put an arm around you from the other side and squeezed you in tight as she laughed.
"He offered me money to sleep with him." You scowled at his direction, hoping you could kill him with just one look.
"What an asshole!" Jiwoo shouted, clearly as outraged as you were.
"How much are we talking?" Yoona had a low tone in her voice and looked at you with both eyebrows raised. But instead of words, she received a deadly glare from both Jiwoo and yourself. "I'm just curious, okay?"
"Can we not talk about him anymore? I just want to forget about him and enjoy the rest of the night with you." You sighed before you raised your hand towards the bartender to order three more rounds for your group.
---
The rest of your night out went by rather uneventfully. Yoona ended up leaving early to go home with a guy that fell head over heels for her and you and Jiwoo were left to yourselves as per usual. She didn't stay because she loved clubbing, she stayed purely to keep you company as you furiously drank the night away. But that's what best friends are for, right?
"The nerves that fucker had." You slurred your words, mostly to yourself, before you downed another shot of Tequila. How many was that? Six? Seven? You couldn't remember at this point.
"I think you've had enough." Jiwoo moved the remaining glasses away from you, before she threw both of your purses over her shoulder and stood up. Despite her short stature, she rested your arm around her and effortlessly supported your entire weight. But what else could you expect from someone that lifts heavy weights four times a week after work just for fun? "I can't leave yet; I still have to fight that douche nozzle!" you protested but to no avail. "This is so unfair. An injustice even. He deserves what he has coming the next time I see him." Jiwoo was a saint.
---
"Come on now," Your best friend huffed, "we're almost inside." She had managed to carry your drunk ass multiple blocks rather than taking a taxi to give you some fresh air. Also, she didn't want to pay the cleaning bill in case you'd throw up on your ride home. But who could blame her?
"My phone!" you suddenly shouted as you stopped in your tracks and frantically searched your purse right in front of your door.
"What about it?" she rolled her eyes. So close.
"That dickhole must have taken it! I gotta get it back!" she left you leaning against the wall as she unlocked the entrance to your place with the spare key you had given her, before she put your arm back around her shoulders and stepped inside. "You probably just forgot it at the club. We can call them up when they open." The two of you made your way straight to your bedroom where she carefully placed you on your bed and took off your shoes.
"No, I need it back. And then I'm going to punch him in his stupidly handsome face!" without another word she continued tucking you into bed. She was having none of your drunken ideas and luckily for her, you had no control over your body anymore as she quickly left the room and came back with a bottle of water she placed on your nightstand.
"Make sure you stay hydrated and get some sleep. I'll come by again in the morning." She sighed. Man, why did she always have to be so damn responsible? Within seconds, the alcohol in your bloodstream gave you the rest and you eventually passed out. You didn't even remember her leaving a bucket next to your bed before she left. Little did both of you know it was going to be the last time she would see you alive.
---
At three in the morning, only an hour after you had fallen asleep, you were woken up by an unpleasant rumbling in your stomach. Oh no. You hurriedly fumbled around in the dark and grabbed the bucket just in time to let everything out. Maybe it was for the best Jiwoo didn't stay, although her foresight was a godsent gift in this moment.
When you were finally done emptying your stomach and drank some water, you were once again wide awake... and still drunk. And then you remembered. "My phone!" Déjà vu showered over you as you got out of bed and put on your shoes. Now that you could somewhat walk again on your own, you were going on a mission. A mission to get revenge – And, of course, your phone.
You made your second big mistake when you stomped out of your apartment and started to make your way all the way back to the club. Jung Hoseok was going to get an earful once you'd get your hands on him, maybe you could even kick his perfectly shaped ass while you were at it.
When you were about halfway back at the club, you suddenly heard voices coming from the alley ahead of you. Two of them. No, three. And one of them sounded much too familiar. You remembered it well, seeing as it belonged to the person that was swirling around your mind all night: Jung Hoseok. Perfect timing. Now you could finally tell him how you really felt. And then you listened closer. What was really going on in that alley? Why was he even there and not in his stupid club, surrounded by women who probably didn't care about his chauvinistic behaviour? You knew it, that guy was shady as hell. And as much as you tried, you couldn't identify the other voices, though one thing was certain: they were not on good terms with him. A loud thud was echoing off the walls, followed by yelling and laughing. Your gut told you to turn around and run as far away as possible, but it wouldn't have sat right with you to just leave if he really was in trouble. He was a dick, yes, but not many people deserved whatever was happening back there. No, it really wasn't right. You slowly started sobering up when you decided to investigate further. You needed to know he wasn't in immediate danger.
You crawled behind a dumpster to get a better look at the situation and just as you thought, it was bad. One of the men had pressed Hoseok against a wall as the other one held the sharp edge of an axe against his throat. When you looked even closer you saw his previously white shirt drenched with blood and something... wooden sticking out of his chest. A stake?
"Finally, we have the chance to eliminate another vermin from this city." The man with the axe growled at Hoseok in a menacing tone. "Now, where are your friends?"
"Tch," Hoseok scoffed and spat out some blood, "I'd rather die than tell you anything."
"Your wish is my command." The man with the axe was about to close in for the kill, but just as he was mid strike, you quickly jumped out of hiding. "Wait!" you yelled as the second man immediately turned towards you and drew his gun in one swift motion, before firing it without a warning.
For just a split second, you felt a sharp, piercing pain in your heart, before you felt nothing. Muffled sounds surrounded you as your eyes went blurry and your body slowly collapsed, realising you had just made your third, and final, big mistake that night. The last thing you saw through your clouded vision were two gold-gleaming eyes in the dark alley, before your head hit the ground and you closed your eyes.
You didn't feel any pain as you drifted off, you just felt nothing. Nothing but one thing and it was something you just knew on a primal level deep within your core. You were dead. But death was a lot more hopeless than people believed. There was no white tunnel, no heaven or hell. Only complete and utterly suffocating darkness surrounding you. There was no guide to tell you what would happen next, no god, no angels, no demons or even Satan himself. You were all alone. And that was the most hopeless realisation. You didn't have a body either, you were just a lonely soul floating around in an endless cage of blackness, stuck in one place for all of eternity. When you really thought about it, maybe it was hell, because it was a fate worse than being tortured.
You quickly lost track of time. You could have been there for mere seconds, days or even years. Speaking was pointless, your words only echoed back as if they were mocking you, taunting you for your actions that lead to this irreversible outcome. And it was nobody's fault but your own. The same questions were floating around you as you were unable to accept your fate.
Why did you go back? Why didn't you just leave? Why didn't you call the police instead? Why couldn't you let Hoseok suffer this end instead of you? Why, why, why?
