sudden seismic activity

ive always had trouble writing lance when im struggling with personal problems and trying to pick myself back up from my lows. hes much more of an optimist than i am and hes so much more positive and self-assured than me, so it really gets difficult trying to force that. sometimes, when i am able to do that, it does help, but not always, unfortunately.

so consider this a formal hiatus until i get back on my feet emotionally/mentally. im sorry ive been such a flake about not keeping my followers up to date on stuff like this, so this is my trying to do better. 

In a friendly, teasing tone that contrasts with the dried blood under his nose and on his lips;

“You, my friend, are going to be the death of me.”

He pulls a washrag off of one of Josephine’s shelves, dips a corner under the cold, running water in her bathroom sink, and then uses it to clean up the mess on his face.

Nudging her as he slides into the space beside her, he leans in close, like he has a secret.
