my future home :)

I walk on the streets, on a grey skied day, as rain beings to pour engulfing each surface in its vicinity. I reach the house, and I observe the intricate designs and frescoes that are engraved within the exterior. I gaze up the building as I see balconies illuminated by the lights that pour from the rooms under twilight rain. I ring the doorbell with anticipation. To see those familiar faces of the ones I love. The door opens as I am greeted by warm hugs and lovely faces. My friends. The rest of the moments pass in its usual chaos, yet I am filled with the kind of warmth that could overcome the chill of the rain outside. It seemed like it was just yesterday when we were in high school, running around hallways that echoed with our laughter. Of memories and moments that will always remain immortal in my soul. I watch the people I love sit beside and across me at the dinner table as laughter, good food, and reminiscence fills the room accompanied by the melodies of music that plays behind us. The night may be cold and dark, but the warmth of this room made me forget that the chill of winter ever existed.
