All my loving || Rygar
The whole thing was crazy. How fast it was all going down but Ryder wouldn’t have changed it for anything. He knew he wanted this. He wanted he she was all he ever wanted since forever. Since the first time he passed her a note to go out with him, since the time they had their picnic and he kissed her, since the time they kissed on the golf course. The way he felt about Sugar had never changed, not even once, he always knew that he wanted her even when he was with different people, even when she was with different people he knew that he wanted them in the end.
Now they were getting married and he felt like there was no way they would turn away from this and that made him more than happy. To know someone loves you that much. Loves you so much they would risk everything for you was a great feeling. It sounded selfish and Ryder wasn’t really the selfish type but he didn’t care. Not now when everything was so in the moment and perfect because of it.
He ran in the house and grabbed a few things, grabbed a nice suit he had in his closet. He didn’t use it much but he knew that it still fit him. He didn’t want to get dressed into it just yet, not wanting any of the guys to see him walking out in a suit. He knew he’d get questions and he couldn’t risk that. One person he really didn’t want to know was Finn and not because he didn’t like him, Finn was one of his best friends. It was just he knew he would wonder what he was doing. Why he was doing even if he was engaged. Then there was Jake and even though they weren’t in the same house he didn’t want to take the chance.
Leaving with a backpack full of things and his suit over his arm he looked around the hallways before heading out the door and looking down at his phone finding out where he had to go. Once he got there he stopped by in a near by bathroom and got changed, the nerves started rising. The feeling of how real this really was was hitting him like a pound of bricks but he liked the nerves he was feeling it wasn’t the bad kind it was the exciting kind. When he was changed he made it to the jet and was handed and had put on the blindfold, “She would have my blindfolded.” He said reaching his hands up to his covered eyes and taking smaller steps so he wouldn’t fall.
When he sat down all he could do was think about everything and how badly he wanted to see Sugar. She was all he wanted to see and he couldn’t help the feeling of wanting to rip the blindfold off and look for her, kiss her, hold her, he wanted to be with her and that thought right there made him believe this whole thing was completely worth it. That’s how people that love each other are supposed to feel, right? He might have been a romantic but he wasn’t a expert at love being that he hadn’t been in love too many times but he was certain what he felt for Sugar was a love that most people didn’t feel in a lifetime.
The wait for Ryder to board passed byblike years. Even with the small glass of champagne her nerves wsre on edge. Maybe he had had a change of heart. Maybe she shouldn't have gone crazy and should bave waited for him to ask her to marry him. Crap, she had asked him. Her mind panicked but it was hearing his comment that calmed her. "Hey! I heard that! You're not supposed to see me. It'll be bad luck if you do." With the way Sugar's life seemed to go she needed the most luck she could get. "I am goingto take a nap. Don't get cold feet on me."
Quickly Sugar got comfortable in her large seat and fell asleep. She was so used to planes from a young age. Her fafher and she jet setted back and forth between places for so king. Her fafher once again came to mund before she pushed the thoughts of him away.
The entire plane ride their two guests and eventual witnesses didn't say much, perhaps sending each other small silent gestures of how Quin didn't agree wholeheartedly.
Screeching to a hault hours later Sugar was awoken hours later by Quinn. Her hair was a mess, her eyes were low with sleep for now. There was no way she was bridal ready now. It woukd still take yet another hour perhaps hour and a half before she said her vows that had come to her as she was sleeoing.
"Only a little while longer." She shouted her statement over her shoulder going further to the back of the plane she went to the restroom to slip into her gown and to fix her hair.
....
Between couples that had spent less than a few hours with each other, one person she was certain wasn't human and about two Elvis impersonators they waited until their names were called. "Here!" What was this? School? "I mean, coming, on our way.... whatever it is that people say." her nerves shower in her word choice. Reaching for Ryder's hand even without needig to take the blindfold off she gave it a light squeeze. This was it, the great plunge that people talked about. She made sure that JP and Quinn guided them before waiting with JP outside the door. The bride's procession started whivh led her to tear off the blindfold immediately. Her train of her gown dragged across the floor. There was no veil because honestly who wanted a mosquito net over their face?
"You sure about this?" JP's mouth went to the side with his mumble. "Not you too."No, I was just asking." He didn't say much else before taking him to stand befire the judge that was ordaining their wedding. Smiling across from him without the blindfolds she bashfully looked down. "Hey,"
