Summary: Off to Gravity Falls, and a family get together)
A/N: Okay so its been 2 years lol. Heres chapter 2 I haven't actually watch Supernatural in like 4 years, so forgive things I might confuse. I'm rewatching it with my bf rn but we're only 2 episodes in
TW: None i think, except maybe slight dipper and ford bashing( I love them, but for this story to work, they need to be bashed a bit)
Sam had wanted to get rid of her, drop her off at a police station and tell her to keep her nose out of the supernatural, but Dean knew better. He recognized the look in her eyes, the hunger for vengeance that would drive her to do reckless and impossible things. He knew she'd be safer with them to guide that rage than for her to be off hunting down Azazel by herself.
And he was right. She told them quickly of Weirdamagedon, of the demons she'd already fought and the journal she kept since leaving. And she was useful.
The scrawny little teen proved herself time and again, saving them with her innovation and ability to read people. Not to mention her occasional ability to see the future. And the older she got, the stronger that ability became.
Which gets us to where they are know, pack into Baby and driving cross country towards some backwater town in the middle of Oregon.
Mabel had woken gasping "Dipper." before forcing both the brothers awake.
With little to no explanation, she'd begged them to head to a place called Gravity Falls. The intensity of her asking was enough to get the brothers moving, but now they were in the car, the brothers needed to know what was going on.
Dean glances in the rearview mirror, looking at the pale 18 year old in his backseat before exchanging a worried glance with Sam.
Ask her what's going on.
What? No! She likes you more.
I'm not doing that....touchy feely stuff.
Dean.
Sam.
DEAN.
Fine.
"Alright shooting star, you gonna tell us why we're going here?"
Mabel let out a long sigh, and looked up from where she been staring at her hands.
"Its my...brother." She said after a moment, "He's in trouble. Something to do with the bubble surrounding gravity falls. I don't know if he's already done it, but if not, we have to get there in time to stop him from bringing it down."
"Uh, bubble?" Sam asks.
"There's a 'bubble' that surrounds Gravity Falls. It keeps Gravity Falls weirdness in and everything else out. It's what kept Bill and his Weirdmageddon from escaping. I think that Dipper and my great-uncle Stanford are trying to bring it down. Or at least, whatever experiment they are running is going to bring it down. I can't imagine they would be so blind as to bring it down after it saved us, and the world, from Bill Cyphers insane plot to destroy it, but then again..."
She trails off into silence, looking out the window as the trees grow denser.
Sam and Dean know better than to ask about Weirdmageddon. They'd gotten the full story exactly once, and then she never spoke about to again. Dean got it. I mean, it wasn't like he went around sharing his experiences in Hell with anyone. Sam, to some extent, got it too. There some things that you just couldn't talk about, no matter the time that had past.
There's nothing remarkable about the town they pull into. Just another small town nestled into the woods. Old buildings, small streetlamps, and statues every so often. One singular diner, as far as Dean can tell.
Its not until Mabel starts to direct them out past town and down a dirt path that things start feeling weird.
The pull up to a dilapidated shack with the words The Mystery hack on the top. There's a golf cart out front, as well as a totem pole, and its surrounded by a ring of rocks.
"This is it?"
"yep." Mabel sighs, sliding out of the car, "Time to pay the Piper, or whatever the saying is." She strides to the door, leaving Sam and Dean behind.
She takes a deep breath before banger her fist on the door. Sam and Dean catch up to her, coming to stand at her shoulders as they wait for the door to open.
A minute later, the door swings open, revealing an old man holding a coffee mug in his hand.
The mug topples, shattering against the ground.
A/N: There is no dialogue in this chapter because this is a set-up chapter, this is giving backstory and kinda forming the plot. There will be dialogue and character interaction in the future chapters dw
Mabel hadnât expected Dipper to actually stay behind. Sure, sheâd said it was okay, but she kinda thought that the whole Weirdamaggedon thing would have turned him off from it. And then, when that failed, she thought for sure that their parents would say no. But for some inexplicable reason they said yes. (It would be easier to deal with the divorce with only one child at home, but how was she supposed to know that?) She held out hope that Dipper would say he was joking at the last minute and get on the bus with her, but no. Instead, she got on the bus alone, and watched as Dipper faded into oblivion.Â
Life back at Piedmont wasâŚdifficult, to say the least. Dealing with her parents constant arguing alone was hard enough, but that couple with nightmare only a few people in the world could ever hope to understand, dreams of fire raining down and her house crumbling to the ground around her, dreams that she would only ever feel comfortable talking about with one other person who was *supposed* to be right by her side made it so much worse.Â
That summer was the worst summer of her life. No friends, her family constantly fighting, her nightmare getting increasingly vivid as Weirdamageendonâs anniversary crept closer. The only bright spot was that Dipper was supposed to come home to celebrate their 14th birthday.Â
The only bright spot in her life any more was their âdailyâ video calls. For the first few months they would call every day, and sometimes even fall asleep with the other on the screen. But as time went on, Dipper kept missing their scheduled times. So they switched to weekly calls. Then monthly. But hey, at least she was gonna be able to see him this summer.
Wrong. 2 days before she was supposed to leave Dipper called her, said theyâd found something big in the Arctic and that they wouldnât be home all summer. She managed to keep the tears at bay until the call ended.Â
Except that the day before Dipper emailed her that he wasnât gonna make it. That's right, not called, emailed. So she cried herself to sleep and refused to leave her room the day of her birthday.
She doesnât remember much from that day, to be honest. She remembers waking up around noon with the strongest prompting to pack a bag. It took her an hour to roll out of bed but she did it. She threw in DIpper's hat, her journal, her grappling hook, and her (ashamedly) favorite stuffie before throwing herself back on her bed. She remembers waking up in what she though was another nightmare, but turned out to be real life. She remembers the house burning down around her, remembers throwing herself out the window, remembers screaming bloody murder for her parents to get out.
She remembers two men telling her to come with them. For some reason, they feel safe, and so she did. She remembers the taller one, Sam, whispering that they should drop her off at the nearest police station. But they never did.Â
Instead she woke up on a couch in a house in the middle of some car graveyard, listened numbly as the two men explained what happened and who they were.Â
She knew she could never see Dipper again, not with that thing on her tail. She could never put him in danger like that. So she stayed with them, the Winchesters. The horrors of Gravity Falls didnât hold a candle to the things she saw.
She learned a lot of things in the following years. Learned how to stuff shotgun shells with salt, how to kill vamps, how to banish ghosts, and how to do a lot more unsavory things. And she taught them some things too. Taught them that attack glitter was useful(if you made your own using iron flakes and salt), taught them that holy water in a water gun, taught them that pink is a perfectly okay color to fight vamps in.
She learned something else too, from a woman named Jodie they met while trying to stop the apocalypse(still a work in progress). Apparently those 'promptings' shes been having were actually called premonitions. And turns out Ma Pines wasn't actually fake but a real, actual psychic.
So when she woke up one sunny day with a feeling deep in her heart that Dipper was in danger? Well, her and the Winchesters were on the road to Gravity Falls by noon.
A/N 2: I low-key kinda hate this so I may revise it tmmr

Basically dipper stays behind and Mable goes back home, and they end up losing contact. Fast forward like 8ish years and Mabke is hunter with Sam and Dean, and they have a case that is taking them to gravity falls.
Anyways the first chapter should be out this week!!
