For those wondering why manga readers were disappointed in MHA/BNHA episode 4x9 (72)....
It has nothing to do with the actual animation or storyline of the episode. They nailed it on the head!
But what was frustrating was just the huge difference in how Kirishima was seen after his fight w/Rappa in he manga vs in the anime.
In the Manga he is beaten to a fucking pulp and covered in blood.
Think Carrie level blood.
But in the anime they censored it so it just looks like he’s fought to his fullest extent and is now exhausted.
Which isn’t wrong, BUT it doesn’t show how much physical damage Kirishima put himself through, which I feel is important to his arc.
...I mean I was also a little disappointed they didn’t flash back to Bakugo once again telling him he’s crazy strong like the did in the Manga, but that’s a just a little nitpick.
In conclusion Kirishima is best boi and we want you all to know just how much he went through in this fight.
