regarding unused (?) blue moon canyon audio files -
there seems to be a bunch of bess and george dialogue that didn’t quite make it into the game.
it seems like bess and george were supposed to react to any cell phone pic nancy sends them (‘john grey looks just like he does on his tv show!’ ‘charleena purcell dresses kind of weird for a romance novelist,’ ‘don’t send any more pictures of crypts ok? george finds them disturbing,’ that sort of thing, and a few along the lines of ‘loved it, send more!’). i’ve tried sending them pictures of just about everything, but i’ve never been able to trigger any of these dialogue options.
and there’s another conversation where nancy calls bess and george once the trains leaves her at jake hurley’s mine. nancy mentions that she doesn’t have frank and joe’s phone number, bess and george promise to call the hardys and let them know nancy’s no longer on the train. but it’s not actually possible to call anyone at that point.
