To me it’s that mix of nervousness and giddiness post-first time. For Juliana, this is the first time she has ever been intimate with anyone, ever. This is a quiet moment after the rush of emotions of the night before. We don’t really know what they did during and especially after sex, everyone has their headcanons, but it’s likely that if they talked, they talked about their feelings. The morning after scene is probably the first time Juliana is hit with what just happened with Valentina, the first time she can really think about it and process it.

And yeah, feeling weird is a normal reaction. It doesn’t mean the fact they had sex feels weird to her, or that she is living the experience badly. But this is a new, huge, intimate thing she experienced for the first time and thinking about it probably throws her off a little.

Valentina may have had sex before Juliana but we know for a fact that she was never satisfied with it and she developed no real emotional attachments to her partners before Juliana. No fireworks right? Judging by her smile and the way she agrees with Juliana, it’s safe to say she also experienced something new, even if this wasn’t the first time she had sex. It was probably the first time she had sex and felt something (not just physically).

And then there’s the imperfection of it all. It was their first time. Valentina never had sex with a woman. Juliana never had sex with anyone ever. It was probably a bit clumsy and hesitant and maybe a bit awkward at times. It’s normal. Juliana is a highly rational. She’s probably overthinking everything in that moment. Valentina thinks about it and she turns into a grinning mess, because she can compare this first experience to the ones she had before. She basks in the moment and at the same time reassures Juls that feeling weird is okay, that they are together in feeling like this, because even if she had previous experiences, this is a first for her too.
