I love this movie and this shot so much. I loved our Superman summer filled with kindness and hope. I loved seeing people post about how they were inspired to be better and be kind. I’m so happy I got to experience this movie with everyone else and talk about how kindness is the real punk rock.
Superman animation yayy 🌟👍 really loved the movie

Yes, yes I did go see Superman for the 3rd time in theaters, and immediately turned it on when I got home. Originally the goal was to see it at least 2 times on the big screen before my surgery at the end of the month but I was hoping for 3 which I managed tonight. If I can manage to go again, I will. The pain from my crohns sucks but this movie brings me so much joy and hope and I really need that right now. I was so emotional after the first viewing; I had just scheduled a surgery to remove a section of my intestines and I was feeling very depressed, scared and hopeless. I left this movie feeling hopeful and comforted. I've always loved movies, the connections I make with them and the emotions they stir up. Health issues aside, this has been a good year at the movies.
Update: surgery went well. It was last Friday (it was 6 hours!) and I was discharged yesterday. Moving slow but healing well. Just watched the 60 min documentary of the making of Superman. Btw, for anyone else having this issue, I bought the movie on prime, the documentary was not in the extras. I got a tip to reconnect my prime account to my movies anywhere account and on there I was able to watch the documentary along with other extras as well.
Anyways Superman is my comfort movie (obviously lol) and I’m so glad I can watch it at home while I’m healing.

Love them!🥰 Cast and characters are perfect!
I’ve had the Superman soundtrack on loop. It makes me feel good and hopeful. I love that it has both the musical score plus the songs from the other artists. Also, the face that Clark makes when Lois says “the Mighty CrabJoys suck” is the perfect combo of “okay, rude” and “thanks for dumping on something I like.” And his reply “okay, well, a lot of people love ‘em” is so relatable all on its own and especially in the tone and feeling that David brings to it.
(No sound because my AC is loud. And of course, I do not own this clip).
