Golden trio puppy pile. Them one on top of the other constantly. Harry's head on Hermione's lap, his legs going over Ron's, or any other combination.
Them so softly in love. Hermione calling them "her boys", Harry calling them "his family", Ron calling them "his people". I just love them so much.
Harry and Hermione kissing early in the morning, Ron making a lil teasing comment about being jealous and both of them say something along the lines of "you can join us you know."
Ron and Harry play fighting as Hermione watches, telling another person that she would never be so childish, only for the two of them to drag her into it jokingly and for her to openly go along with it.
Ron braiding Hermione's hair for her late at night as they talk, Harry walks in blearily from a nightmare. He's scared he's intruding but immediately they both beckon him to them. Hermione gets him to sit in her lap as Ron continues braiding.
The three of them just having a relaxing day off. Harrys with his shirt off and Ron gets the bright idea to draw on his back. Hermione and Ron both mark him as theirs.
I like imagining that Ron knows Gaelic and Hermione knows Haitian Creole because of their families. They all learn each other's languages, with Hermione and Ron learning Parseltongue for Harry.
Just- just them in love guys. Them being each other's entire world.

WOY AU STUFF
I'll be honest I'm not a super awesome artist so I rely on writing instead, so I have this one au about wanders past that I'd like to talk about! No name for their species tho since I hate using the star Nomad one and the other one I have is used for my other au
This is quite definitely obvious but I just wanted to talk about how wander would be a perfect villian, not the type that hater and all the others are I feel like he'd do good at like more of a small time type of villian he wouldn't be taking over planets but he would definitely leave them worst then when he'd find them, he's sneaky as hell and knows how to get under peoples skin HE LITERALLY HAS A HAT THAT WILL GIVE YOU WHATEVER YOU NEED so if he were to be a villian he could dig into the hat and would pull out whatever was needed to terrorize the place.
He would never do any of this but I feel like it's a cool thought, since he definitely has the ability to and most likely every reason to (baby wander being scared out of his mind) but he just choses not too, that's probably one of the best things about his character but it would be cool to see him as a hyperactive sneaky and speedy type of villian that doesn't even want to rule galaxies all he wants is to cause pain and suffering for fun, almost like dominator which reminds me of how similar they are, they both share the same determination just for different things, one for helping and one for destruction and both could work as either one just as good as the other does if they're stories and roles were switched, but I suppose it could work for anyone if stories were switched around but it feels like it just works a little more with those two

“The Tourist” is interesting because it brings up a surprising and seemingly under-discussed aspect of Wander’s character - how much he actually takes pride in his “wandering”
At the beginning of the episode he was happy to “meet another wanderer” but quickly grows insecure after realizing Trudi apparently has visited more places than him. He’s apparently been wandering for over a thousand years and could presumably do so for thousands more, so what’s the rush? Why the competition? Did he just caught up in the moment?
It makes me wonder if it’s perhaps something like “wandering is all I do and it’s all I am so I have to be the best at it” which.. honestly kinda reminds me of Hater? It got pretty extreme too, to the point of disrespecting + hurting Sylvia and other planet’s cultures.
It’s unlike Wander to have so much pride… mildly intriguing
I have an idea on how we can get more WOY fans. There's another solution that I have in mind, although some of you may know already or may not know. We can cross WOY characters with other characters from any shows, regardless of popularity, in our fanart. The reason for crossing WOY characters with other characters can leverage existing fandoms to introduce new audiences to Wander and Sylvia's galaxy. By placing any WOY character alongside characters from Phineas and Ferb, Gravity Falls, Amphibia, Bluey, etc., we instantly build a bridge for fans who might not have seen WOY before.
Here are some examples:
- Sylvia fist bumping with Star Butterfly
- Wander dancing with Bluey and Bingo
- Lord Hater and Dr. Doofenshmirtz coming up with a scheme
BEGGINER ART OVER HERE WEEWOOWEEWOO
Based off of a little RP I did with my friend
Wander is scared knowing one day Sylvia is going to die?
Sad, but not scared. He’s been down this road many times.
I want a Wander who is ageless, who has been alive as long as the universe or nearly so, and who remembers the formation of galaxies, but who is still struck by wonder every time they witness the birth of a star.
A Wander who, when they say “in my past,” can be talking about fifty years ago or fifty-thousand or ten billion, but who never clarifies because it’s all the same to them, because after so many years the whole of history is an endless string of memories and the exact when of something matters so much less than that it happened.
A Wander who spent those first few millennia alone and purposeless, and then who, the first time they saw someone else in pain, thought: I will not let anyone else feel the way I did. (They feel an echo of that helplessness every time they are faced with a villain they cannot convert, a situation they cannot make better, a friend they cannot keep.)
A Wander who never had a name, who doesn’t refer to themself as anything but me because the entirety of a person cannot be summed up by a single word, but who knows how much names mean to others and who graciously accepts the ones they are given. (Wander is one of their favorites so far, because it hits closer to their purpose than almost anything else they’ve been called.)
A Wander who existed before gender, and exists outside of it, donning whichever neutral pronouns are commonplace and shedding them as the move on, as transient as names.
A Wander who is themself before anything else, who existed before words and can exist without them.
A Wander who needs to see everything, to know, to find out and explore, who fixates on possibilities and cannot rest until they have looked around the corner, peeked into the box, known and listened to and soothed the insecurities in the mind of a friend or an enemy or a stranger in need.
A Wander who gives everyone the benefit of the doubt and believes in their goodness even when they don’t, first as a simple instinct and then as a conscious choice.
A Wander who remembers the face of every person they have ever helped, who observes and who catalogs and who makes lightning-quick plans with creativity and astute imagination, who hides those plans behind coincidence and distraction and excitement and their genuine desire to help.
A Wander who is a bad liar, certainly, but who has had years to practice misdirection, and who knows when and how to use it. (Who uses it almost too much, as a veil and as a hiding place, because they love the universe but they have no concrete faith the universe will love them back.)
A Wander who is always unsurprised to hear stories spread about them because it has happened before, who could hate the legends because they set unrealistic expectations (I can’t help everyone, no matter how hard I try), but who tolerates them instead because they give hope, which is even more important.
A Wander who refuses to be jaded, to lose hope, because the universe is vast and wide and beautiful and they know that what it needs most is simply as much love as their heart can give.
I like this.

Wander might have such an exceptional memory that he remembers almost every good and bad thing that's ever happened to him. It's a rare but possible condition called hyperthymesia, where people can remember most of their life experiences in detail; Wander's already a genius (and also ambidextrous according to "The Egg"), so if he has this too, it wouldn't come off as a surprise to me. Meditating, living in the present, helping, playing instruments etc. all help Wander not think about these memories (especially the bad ones, but being overwhelmed with good memories is tough, too this poor man can't catch a break. no wonder he's so hyper and learned so many skills, he constantly has to do things to keep his thoughts & feelings at bay)
What keeps Wander from dwelling on the bad things around him is not just his naturally lighthearted, feel-first-think-second personality "The Black Cube" implies he's once felt angry and like the world is unfair, but in "The Wanders," we see how Wander is shown to have been naturally charismatic BEFORE the tragedy happened, so that means being lighthearted is his default except that he used to be more arrogant but also those hyperfixations with an idea (usually tied to helping others) that we see in the show (finding the sock's owner, getting Hater and Dominator together, opening the box, delivering Hater's letter to Dominator...)
Whenever a bad thing happened to him, Wander would replace it with something positive and/or new information about others until the bad was forgotten. That's why he always seems happy (the thing is, he DID learn to find happiness in the little things, but deep down, Wander doesn't deal with his own darkness and past because he buried/pushed them aside in favor of good vibes) what he didn't forget tho is his origin story and name, he can't forget that even if he'd want to Wander is proof you can really hide so many things behind a smile
In "My Fair Hatey," we see Wander being a badass again, not only because he handled weapons (swords, a spike) with ease, but also bc he threw Hater right towards HUGE knives and axes, then zapped him in a electric chair SO CASUALLY, more than once what even is going on with this dude. he obv got used to dodging weapons ("the gift" comes to mind) and danger overall. but there's just no way he learned to DO all this himself during his "nice guy" era. also, wander learns stuff from experience , so... i think this further supports the idea that he used to be a "regular" hero
I love how, after everything he put Hater through in this single song, Wan has no problem showing he's annoyed with him. Amazing not to mention pumping hater up (literally)
Speaking of their dynamic (again), Sylvia first soothed Child Wander, and only then did she put it back into Wander (that's why, after CW became a part of him again, Wander felt grateful instead of terrified like he was seconds earlier). If Wander's parts were to ever split again somehow, Sylvia would help him. As flawed as their friendship is (from both sides), this is so important to me
Wander could one day decide to trust Sylvia enough to reveal his deeper side because he HAS one, he just seems shallow, just like this entire show and not just give basic information like his age and how he got his hat, but he's so private that I don't think he ever will. What's heartwarming tho is how Sylvia would actually listen If Wander ever decided to open up to her. Maybe she doesn't understand his ways but she would definitely try to
We know Wander loves attention, but also feels worthless, so this could be yet another reason why he won't open up to others; everyone else always comes first to him and his own pain isn't as important in his eyes, if at all. He can (superficially, impersonally) deal with others' darkness, like the Black Cube's, and in "The Bad Hatter" he says about his hat:
which means Wander learned how to handle challenges and improvise (so you'd think he has it all figured out even if he's not happy-go-lucky all the time)
It's also not that a part of him doesn't know or accept that he's been through so much pain (Wander is very self-aware after all),
but he doesn't seem to be able to OR want to sit with others' deep negative feelings (he always quickly helps people except w/ hater bc he sees himself in him then moves on, gives pep talks that seem like borderline toxic positivity, tries to lighten the mood with a song etc.), and especially his own (avoids truly opening up about himself, what his real name is and who he is, never sobs out of pain, tries to shoo away the memory of his real name, is shown to deal with fear by avoiding it/using toxic positivty/running away, flinches/looks traumatized whenever he is in the presence of Child Wander i really think the reason why wander smiled gratefully at syl and wasn't in emotional pain when she put that part of him back inside him is bc she had previously soothed (but not healed) it)
In "The Night" we learn that Wander can't sit in silence for long without something to do or someone to talk to
It could just be ADHD-coding/him feeling bored by himself, but looking at the bigger picture I think this also has to do with Wander's mind constantly having to wander off somewhere because if it doesn't, the deep stuff he pushed aside might resurface
I don't think I've said this when I talked about Wander in "The Void"/"Inside Your Mind", but the faces he makes in that episode while in his imaginary world don't give me the vibe of someone who is having fun in there. It feels creepy/unsettling + the manipulation of Sylvia hints at Wander wanting her to be a part of his world (since he only imagined himself in there) by forcing her to also develop borderline toxic positivity like him so he doesn't feel alone in how he copes
Everyone treats Wander as a young man and he doesn't seem to mind (yeah, he looks younger than he is and would look even younger without the beard, but Wander might actually be a younger man if we go by Star Nomad years).
The times where he's been called 'son':
This guy called Wander 'son' 6 time in total
There's also Stella Starbella calling him 'sweetie'...
...and Hater, Wander and Sylvia teaching an old man how to use a phone (which means that, no matter how old Hater & Wander are chronologically, they're treated as a part of the younger generation i guess mental age is what counts in woy, bc mentally, wan DOES act like a young man in his 20s or early 30s, while hater's like a teenager)
(Don't know why but-) I decided to determine Wander's personality based on the way he holds a pen, and found out he's described like THIS
Loves learning new things and meeting new people, observant, will not bother talking to some people or annoying/reforming them (troll, Ryder, Screwball Jones), but will keep trying to annoy/reform others (Hater, Major Threat), mysterious, emotionally guarded, life of the party, prefers to show a brave/happy face... HOW IS THIS SO ACCURATE this character is writing himself, i swear
I also love how one of Wander's socks is sometimes pulled up slightly more than the other. Them being uneven gives him a "hippie," carefree feel.
Just look at him in the pilot, he looks like he's in his own world
In "The End Of The Galaxy," he looks so scared and feels so small
Wan adores loud parties ("The Party Animal"), but when a loud enivornment is also violent, he gets sensory overload
Sylvia is Wander's best friend (e.g he says that he can't imagine a better friend in "the Void," calls her the greatest in "My Fair Hatey" and his best pal in "The Tourist" + they get along well most of the time), but he doesn't always act like she is
In "The Buddies," Wander eagerly comes up with a 'best buds handshake' on the spot and uses the 'best buds' necklace on Hater and looks sad when they don't click without saying or thinking something like "I feel bad for doing this because Sylvia's my best buddy in the whole entire universe, but I gotta try and finally get through to Hater in any way I can!"
I know they had to play along, but Wander acted like he genuinely WANTED to be best friends w/ Hater (confirmed to be true in "The Fremergency Fronfract" in general, he puts a lot of effort in trying to befriend him) Even though the song in this episode plays in Hater's dream, the title ("Best Friends Forever") is telling
In "The Pet," the song lyrics say Captain Tim is Wander's best bud (this song is literally called "My Best Buddy"). What's sad is that, after the line "All covered in blood," it cuts to Sylvia sobbing because she thinks Wander (her ONLY bff) died. The song even mentions "mountains high and rivers wide," which is supposed to be a Wander & Sylvia thing based on what we see in "The Lonely Planet"
Wander was ready to replace Sylvia, let her go with Ryder (obv he wanted to give her a freedom of choice which is nice, but he wasn't sad for long at the thought of them going their separate ways after everything they've been through) and find another traveling partner. He's so bad at friendship that it literally didn't occur to him that, instead of quickly moving on like he always does, he could try to talk things out with Sylvia if frederick hadn't showed up, wander would have ACTUALLY parted from her :(
and in the deleted scene from "The Hole...Lotta Nuthin'," Wander says:
It feels like anybody can become Wander's best friend even after only one encounter with him (but not REALLY since he's guarded and closed off behind that smile)
When Sylvia says that her biggest fear is losing Wander, he doesn't say it back even more proof wan doesn't get attached As Dave Thomas pointed out, Wander would be sad if Sylvia died, but not scared
Wander cares less about Sylvia's feelings and more about helping everybody else. He puts himself (and Sylvia) in danger all the time while knowing too well that she worries about him. If he really did take her fear seriously he actually used syl's worry for him to tease her in "the heebie jeebies", he'd either 1) tell himself before every reckless stunt "I'll try to be as careful as possible for Syl's sake!" or 2) pull her aside and tell her that he's actually not oblivious to danger and that he'd already survived so much on his own (but that would mean opening up about his past which Wander doesn't wanna do. Wander literally only ever shared how he found his hat and that he's 1000+, but emotionally opening up is a no from him)
The headcanon below actually makes A LOT of sense (even Dave seems to agree) and I feel like it shines a light on the two's dynamic
This means Wander is guiding Sylvia just like he guides others
Wander treats his friends like a therapist treats their patients, or how a teacher treats their students; less like friends and more like acquaintances who he guides/is kind to but doesn't personally get to know (nor does he try to) wander never asked sylvia to tell him anything abt herself or her past, that's why he didnt know that she ran away from home, used to be Ryder's partner in crime (literally), had a family, or that her dad died In "The Waste Of Time," he says how he knew Sylvia was a bad guy BECAUSE HE WAS THERE. That confirms how Wander learns about others by observing them, not by digging deep
Wander literally IS like an ice cream man; he makes others happy, then moves on. He'll run up to you, say "Hello, folks call me Wander (he never ACTUALLY introduces HIMSELF, only the guy other people named), how can I help?", help, and then run off to help someone else. Nobody knows who Wander is deep inside nor do they care to learn and it's SAD bc he deserves to have someone who he could open up to about EVERYTHING, not just his age ("The Waste Of Time") and how he got his hat ("The Mad Hatter")
Wander let Sylvia tag along with him not just bc he's nice, but bc he felt like he could help her by letting her protect him. He spends more time w/ her than with anyone else, but at the end of the day, Wander treats everybody around him either as villains who he tries to reform, or as folks who he can help in some way (or both, in Sylvia's case)
Wander doesn't really need anyone. Sylvia IS his closest companion, but he's still emotionally detached from her, never opens up about what he's hiding behind the helpful persona/what painful stuff happened to him in the past, doesn't try to learn deeper stuff about her (he picked up on her basic likes and dislikes, just like he remembers stuff about everyone else in the Yonder galaxy), and needs her less than she needs him
In "The Epic Quest of Unfathomable Difficulty!!!" Wander wasn't sad that Sylvia was about to be executed along with him. What actually upset him was how his belief in kindness was put into question
In "The Big Day," he wants to have both of them killed just to make Hater happy,
and in "The Birthday Boy," he doesn't react with fear/worry when Sylvia's flung up in the air by Hater (instead he tries to think of a way to tame the beast)
Wander has a very simplistic view on Sylvia aka that she's tough, smart, brave, strong yet secretly sweet ("The Rider") he doesn't feel the need to worry about her bc syl is in the "protector" role What changes in S2 is that Wan becomes more aware of how she isn't invincible. In "The Greater Hater," he worriedly asks Sylvia if she's okay when the Dombots hurt her hand. Compare this to "The Lonely Planet," where he spends the whole day being indifferent about Janet hurting Sylvia or he was simply enjoying himself too much to notice
When Sylvia thought Wander died ("The Pet") and vice versa ("The End Of The Galaxy") both yelled a devastated "Noooooooo!" except that Sylvia broke down into sobs on the spot, Wander didn't he seriously doesn't ever sob in the show, the closest he got was when he admitted to syl that he lied to her in "the secret planet," but those were crocodile tears that lasted for like 2 seconds
Wander must have cried here not just bc he didn't wanna lose Sylvia, but because he felt guilty for running off without telling anyone to try and befriend Dom just like he thinks it's his fault that his people got killed
In "The Void," Wander tells Sylvia how he can't imagine a better friend than her and wishes for the real exit, but he doesn't directly apologize to her, which could mean that a part of him isn't sorry for what he did (I explain Wander's behavior in this episode here and here)
He's also been a jerk to her in "The Egg" (although it's confirmed this ep takes place early on in their friendship, so it makes sense that they were still getting used to each other)
*This will be kind of a bonus section, but for some reason I forgot to mention all this stuff:
The way Wander reacts here confirms that he's very deeply AND personally affected by his past, he legit just wants to forget/escape it
At first, I thought Child Wander was there to imply how Wander lost his home as a child and Heroic Wander™ represents who he would have become if the tragedy hadn't happened to him at a young age
... but then I noticed that this little guy still has a small beard (unless it's a species thing, kids don't have them). That's how I figured out Child Wander doesn't represent a literal child Wander, but his wounded inner child. So as I said before, Heroic Wander™ is actually who Wander once was
This traces back to "Inside Your Mind"; Wander doesn't wanna be JUST ok, he wants to FEEL perfect and BE perfect, like the "perfect" hero he once was
Also, why does CW wear the same magic hat that Wander saved during the Civil War?
It could just be a stylistic choice, OR the other Star Nomads got killed around the time Wander met the Hat. That explains why he's so attached to it the hat is literally so important to wander that it just kinda blended with his inner child, like a comfort object, even his former 'hero' self was prepared to go defeat Hater while wearing it
I think this is how the timeline goes (I accidentally wrote a mini fic, oops)
Thousands of years ago, there was a bold, gun wiedling, daring, heroic hero who protected the innocent from villains, but only showed kindness to the good guys (let's say Wander's real name is something goofy like "Harold Heroic" he added the 'heroic' part to sound cooler) I like to think the Star Nomads would pick a different planet to live on every couple of years (or however time works in space, but they'd spend some time in the same place before moving again), and on each one, they'd make their own secluded society
Harold Heroic never failed to protect anyone (he was a perfect hero after all), until he did
He looked at the bad guy(s) who took his family away from him and asked 'Why?'
Harold traveled far away from home, angry and heartbroken, until he remembered that 'Why?' back when he saw what the villain had done to his people, and decided to rethink his worldview
That's how Harold let go of anger and embraced hope and optimism. He fully embraced his new, happy-go-lucky self, yet deep down, behind his now friendly smile, Harold hid so many things, but never let anyone in just like he didn't let anyone in in"the big job"
Harold swore to himself that he MUST do his best to help anyone and everyone who needs it, even villains. He's waaay more humble now and comes second to everybody else. He failed his family once, he won't fail anyone again he did, many times throughout the years and the guilt kept piling up every time beneath the smiles, but there were times where Harold would get so obsessed with a particular idea that he would forget his surroundings and not notice who he hurt in the process
And so he learned how to keep the sadness at bay (helping others became an obsession so that he'd never feel worthless and helpless again, he learned to play many instruments and let his mind come up with the weirdest of ideas)
One day, Harold saved a magic hat from two civilians who treated it poorly
The Hat reminded him that he'll never be alone again. Harold knew that he'd travel and help and leave people and places behind, but the Hat would always remain a constant in his life
The rest is history
Do you guys remember how many dramatic, motivational speeches Wander gives in the show? I like to think they come from his past too, when he would reassure the people he was about to rescue that they'll be safe from the bad guys, or whatever trouble they were in
Wander being a former heroic hero also explains how he's sometimes arrogant; he kept a piece of his old self
Another moment that traces back to "Inside Your Mind" is this line right here
Honestly, the expression on his face makes it seem like he obsessively wants for that to happen, just as much as when he wanted to stay inside his mind. Wander's words and face give me toxic positivity vibes
When Hank mentions Hater getting squeezed to death in his story, Wander looks pretty shaken up, even more than Sylvia
The thing is, Wan must have seen death many times by now, so why this reaction? The only explaination i can come up with is that, whenever he did see dark stuff, Wander made light of the situation/pretended not to notice (or he was too focused on something else to care, like when Mc Guffin got fried bc of his plan and when he forgot to save the rabbit people). if Wander did indeed watch his people die right in front of him/come too late and saw the aftermath of the invasion, this way of coping makes even more sense
Tl;dr Wander and Sylvia have a sweet but flawed friendship; every day, I'm more and more sure that Wander was indeed a typical hero once
