It may be that their mental health, family life, or other circumstances are hindering their ability to fully show up for others in a reliable way. They’re barely showing up for themselves.

They might just be so preoccupied with their own insecurities, anxieties, and concerns that they aren’t able to see how their actions affect others.

They’re toxic

They’re most likely in pain and projecting it onto the people around them. The pain they feel is starting to bleed out to others. They don’t like it either.
