television romance! ; a reshade preset by stinkrascal

i’m not a huge fan of reshade presets that add a lot of unneeded effects, textures, or colorings, as i’m someone who likes to add these things myself in photoshop. with that in mind, i created television romance! the purpose of this preset is to give you a solid foundation to build upon; it was created to be comprehensive and versatile, and should work well with just about any editing style.

important information

- this preset was made using reshade 3.0.8. i’m uncertain how it’ll look with earlier or later versions of reshade, so use at your own discretion. grab reshade 3.0.8 here. to learn how to install reshade, here’s a guide. i won’t answer questions on how to install reshade.

- this is not a mod! to properly install, you must place the file television romance by gremlinsims.ini in your The Sims 4/Game/Bin folder.

- all the shaders and textures i use are included in the download. replace the files in your shaders and textures folder with the ones i’ve included in the download (don’t forget to back up your shaders and textures as well!) all shaders and textures are located here:  The Sims 4/Game/Bin/reshade-shaders.

- edge smoothing needs to be toggled off for DOF to work.
