So for those who care about stats... hoo boy! Even though our Grant chapter beat it by 100 words extra growth, this chapter grew the most in terms of percentage. Grant had 1100 extra words shoved in there and ended up 38% bigger than the original chapter, meanwhile Terry Jr's chapter grew by just over 1000 words, but that makes a whopping 49% increase!

Not planned. Not sure how that happened. Also now the second-longest chapter in the first half of the story. Good for him

Aside from that, this one took a little longer to hash out because there's a few (pretty unnoticeable) changes that had to happen

Anyway back to what I was saying before. Yes, welcome back to the middle Sparrow fic. I've always had a soft spot for this one

Kellogg's K'nightmare Grant 1 (now 2?!) Remastered is now up!

This one was an absolute mission to rework and it's all my own fault! SOMEONE (me) thought it would be a fantastic idea to have single POV during the main chapter, and dual POV during the smut. Something symbolic about two bodies coming together as one. That or we were trying for omniscience

Either way, it was MESSY. I mean it was fine on reread but I want to keep it in line with the rest of the fic (going forward), so it needed to change (don't worry, I'm sure there'll be Grant POV in the future). This also won't be the last time I have to tackle that particular problem, so... yay!

A very welcome back to another "There's an extra 450 words in here somewhere, but I don't know where they went"

Also I've moved on from Grant kicking my ass. Sparrow's turn now.

Sparrow's second chapter is actually FINE, it's all the behind the scenes stuff I'm having to do around it that's making it take longer. Which is likely a problem I'm going to have to face in every chapter going forward, now.

First Kellogg's K'nightmare Terry chapter (Remastered) is back up and running (ignore the fact that I almost re-edited and re-uploaded Sparrow 1 again because I forgot I did it already)

Mostly sentence restructuring in this one. Most everything is the same, just maybe written a little differently. Oh and an extra 400 words. Not sure where they came from!

Also, in this chapter, I, chief overthinker, had to find my timeline to make sure the time of year was correct for me to write "cool air"... despite not having actually revealed what dates any of this is taking place

(It was not, by the way. 10 minutes of diversion only to change the world "cool" to "warm")

The first reworked chapter (well... if you want to call a prologue a chapter) of Kellogg's K'nightmare is finally up. A little test run if anything

This was probably the least... intense of all of the rewritten chapters so far... probably because it was one of the shortest. It was also nice revisiting it after a few years - I forgot about the dad BDSM portrait I'd written into it, that gave me a good chuckle

Not much has changed, I was pretty happy with what I'd written the first time - it just needed some sentences shuffled around here and there to make it a little more coherent.

I'm going to try to stick to a regular 3-day revision schedule but... we'll see how that goes. I'm half editing and revising this fic, and half working on another for sometime in the future... all while trying to avoid burning out again

Hey all! There's no new chapter yet, however there will be one coming soon, so watch this space.

This is just a courtesy message to let you all know that over the next week or two, I’m going to be going back through Kellogg's K'nightmare and editing every existing chapter. I kinda wrote and posted it in a frenzy with zero writing experience and no beta. Even though I don’t have much more now, I’d still like to think I’ve improved somewhat haha

So, I’m going to be making some edits here and there to the chapters. Not story-breaking details, so don’t stress. The plan is to enhance what’s already there, not change it – I’m trying to keep it as close to the original as possible, just mostly fixing some pacing here and there.

If you’re worried you won’t like the new changes, please feel free to download the fic as it is now, though I do think the changes are for the better.

I’ll be starting the edits one week from now (June 5th, Australian time) and will leave a note in each chapter’s Author’s Note to say it’s been edited so you’ll know where I’m up to. Once they’re all done, I’ll post the bonus chapter I’ve been working on 😊
