Shining Gold | Narihisago and Taiyou
âIâm very glad you havenât been thrust into kingship with no one there to help you, at least. To my admittedly limited understanding of them, theyâre at least experienced and reliable.â Being a king seemed like a lot for even an adult to handle, let alone someone Taiyouâs age. Then again, heâd also met another young king recently. Narihisago wasnât informed enough to know whether that was normal or not, but it didnât concern him personally, either.
Narihisago chuckled a little at Taiyouâs encouragement. âI appreciate it, Taiyou-kun. I guess I just have a long way to go before I can be the person I want to be again, if thatâs even possible for me anymore.â He took Taiyouâs hand in his own firmly, sealing their good terms with each other.
âIâm usually capable of taking care of myself, but Iâm thankful for your offer.â He smiled a bit, trying not to darken the mood further than he already had. âAnd if you need me for anything, just ask for me, alright?â
âI think you definitely can.â Taiyouâs smile was friendly, determined, and most of all radiated like the sun, for which he was named for. His grip tightened as he clasped the pink haired manâs, exerting only enough strength to make it a firm grasp and not something that could hurt. He knew most Kingâs were extremely strong physically and he wasnât sure just how much given that heâd met none and had so far not needed to use force when dealing with anyone, but it was always on the forefront of his mind. So far, he had no problems keeping most of his abilities in check.Â
The teen grinned in response. âNo doubt about it!â He chuckled as he released the others hand. âSure thing. If I need an awesome detective around Iâll give you a ring.â He tapped his head, showing that as heâd already mentioned being a walking cellphone, calling him was only a simple matter of willing it. âItâd be really cool to see you in action.â
Taiyou lowered his hand from his head and then waved it, the starlit night as well as the planets that had circled them dissipated and was replaced by the lush greenery of the park as well as the sun rays which now mercilessly blinded his blue eyes, eyes that had adjusted to the dark scene that heâd enveloped them in previously. âTake care, Narihisago-san.â Unless there was more the older man needed Taiyou didnât see a point to lingering in his celestial world any longer. Just as he counted on, not a single person in the park had so much as batted an eyelash at the two maleâs.Â
Taiyouâs soccer ball had returned to normal and he kicked it, a light tap that would knock it a few feet away and Taiyou chased after it, turning slightly to raise a hand in parting towards the pink haired man. âBye, Detective-san!â With his final farewell out of the way, Taiyou resumed kicking the ball around the park, laughing happily when a few kids taking interest decided to join in.
