Hm, so... hi! I've been thinking about this for a while and I decided that I'm moving blogs. I'm super grateful for all of the memories I have over here and I love every single one of my followers, but — for some reason — this blog just doesn't feel like home anymore. I need a fresh start.

I hadn't been even talking to my close moots as much cause I was feeling super drained over here. So I'll use this chance to begin again <3 I hope yall can understand!

So, if you want, send me a dm and I'll gladly give you my new @. Moots, I'll probably follow you as soon as I'm all set up, but if takes a lil bit of time you can send me a dm too!

As of right now I won't make my @ public since I need a breather, but maybe I'll come back here and let you all know once I'm ready (if anybody even wants me to LMAO).

No, this blog won't be deleted. But, overtime, I may repost some of my old favorite works and then, when it's all done, I'll probably say goodbye to this one for good. I have no idea when that will be tho.

“leaving so soon?” you blink at him, a small frown pulling on your lips.

oikawa looks like a deer caught in headlights.

“ah,” he laughs. it sounds a little strained. “i thought i was being quiet, sorry if i woke you up.”

the sheets pool around your waist as you prop yourself up with one arm. “what’s the hurry? do you have somewhere to be right now?”

you see his adam’s apple bob up and down as he struggles to come up with an excuse.

now that you think about it, oikawa has been behaving a little strangely for a while now. he used to stay for a few hours after you wake up, even going as far as cooking you his specialty pancakes whenever he has the time.

even though the relationship the two of you have isn’t something you can put a label on easily, he treated you like he would treat someone he cares about. there was an emphasis on the ‘friends’ in friends with benefits.

but recently, he’s been acting really weird. he seem to always be in a rush to leave before you could even utter a ‘good morning’, and he can’t even hold your gaze for more than fifteen seconds at a time without having to avert his attention somewhere else.

yes, the oikawa tooru, is struggling to hold eye contact with you.

“you okay, tooru?” you ask, a look of concern in your eyes. “you’ve been acting kinda off lately, did i do something wrong?”

oikawa nods, and then shakes his head furiously. “no no you didn’t do anything wrong. you’re perfect- i mean, no. yeah, nothing’s wrong, don’t worry.”

“hey,” kuroo hiccups, blinking slowly.

he props his chin up with the palm of his hand and shoots you a lazy smile.

you sigh, shaking your head. “hey yourself.”

kuroo laughs, the sound bubbling out from his chest, genuine. “whatcha up to sexy?”

the chilly spring wind causes miniature goosebumps to bloom on your skin, and you wrap your jacket tighter around yourself, shivering slightly as you shoot him an irritated glare.

“well,” you deadpan, “some genius decided that three am is the perfect time to get shitfaced and call me to pick his miserable self up after he hurled his dinner all over the sidewalk, so here i am.”

and he laughs again, this time a little lighter than before. his chest tingles pleasantly.

kuroo allows himself to look at you for a few seconds longer than if he were sober. the moonlight casts a pretty silver glow on your figure, and despite the unamused look on your face, kuroo grins.

you look really nice, his thoughts whisper, but he doesn’t say it aloud.

“ah,” he pretends to think, stroking his chin with a serious look on his face. “who’s this genius? is he here right now? i really wanna meet him.”

you roll your eyes at him, but a smile is dancing on the corner of your lips. there’s that annoying flutter in his stomach again.

“c’mon dumbass,” you offer him a hand, urging him to take it. “let’s get you home.”

kuroo stares at your outstretched arm, and then back at you. he chews on his lips, unsure.

“home?” he echoes, voice sounding foreign to his own ears.

“home.” you repeat, a fond look in your eyes.

it’s nice, he thinks. kuroo isn’t sure if it’s the alcohol in his system, but his stomach feels bubbly and light and pleasantly warm.

yeah, this is nice.

“okay,” he grins, holding onto your hand to hoist himself back up. your fingers are cold, but his heart is racing all the same. “yeah, let’s go home.”
