I’m the only one left on this page that even works at Subway anymore, so I feel as though I should post more. I’m gonna try to post some stories of stupid shit that happens at work LOL.

Okay, so first story. Today I was closing with my coworker and it was super busy and we were really behind. It was 2 hours before close. He asks me “can we just close early??” and I’m like “sure let’s do it” so he writes on a piece of paper “CLOSED, SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. OUR REGISTER BROKE” and puts it on the door. We had several people pull up, see the sign, then leave. It actually worked guys!!! 

Who are you?   Friends call me Tabby or Tabs. And one friend calls me Clark/Kal El: Any of these is totally fine. Fitness/Health related: I’m a 26yo. I’m 5′ 2″. I currently weigh 174lbs (My highest weight was 230lbs and in May of 2015 I got all the way down to 139lbs. I went to Texas during my husband’s deployment and gained back so much weight that I got up to about 195lbs. Since November I’ve lost a total of 21lbs.) I eat ketogenic (low carb/moderate protein/high fat). I do Aerial Yoga and am a newbie at weightlifting. Personal: I’m a parent of two groovy boys. I prefer he/him pronouns and identify as genderfluid. Polyromantic/Demisexual.  Where are you from?   Born and raised in Houston, Texas but I’ve lived in San Diego for an accumulation of maybe 2-3 years total but not all at once (military life). I wish I could live in San Diego forever but I’ll be moving back to Houston, Texas indefinitely in late February. Where are you in your journey?   It’s my second time round, I’m afraid. I was so close to my goals, they were in arm’s reach. But then I had a traumatic 2015 and rekindled my affair with my BED and it was fckin’ awful. But hopefully that is behind me forever now. I’ve lost 21lbs of the weight I gained back, and I’m hoping to at least lose the other 35 or so pounds I gained by the end of the year and more importantly gain a LOT of strength!!!

What do you like to do for fun?   I love to draw. Its one of myfavourite things and something I promised myself to do more of in 2016. I also like to write, and to sing. I love aerial yoga, and I love comic books and cartoons. (I know this list reads more like a list of likes than things I like to do, but to be honest I am very boring and don’t do much!) Are there any specific things we should know about you? Fitness related: I have a past of BED and relapsed May 2015-October 2015 and gained over 50lbs in that short amount of time. Personal: I know I said this already, but if you could remember that I prefer he/him pronouns it’d mean a lot to me. I am not out to most of my family, and this is my only safe haven where I get to feel 100% me.

Marlee Matlin

Birthday: August 24, 1965

Marlee Beth Matlin won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Children of a Lesser God, and is both the only deaf performer to win the award, and, at 21, the youngest to date. 

For the past fifteen years ASU’s Barrett Honors College has been home to professors who sexually harass and sexually abuse students. While romantic relationships between professors and students may seem consensual, the imbalance of power makes these relationships inherently coercive and abusive. For example, a student may feel pressured to acquiesce to requests made by someone with the authority to give grades and letters of recommendation. The Barrett administration began receiving sexual abuse complaints about a Barrett professor in 2005 but did not fire him until 2012. A second professor was fired Spring 2013, and a third at the end of March 2014. The Barrett Deans and ASU’s Office of Equity & Inclusion continue to intimidate victims and discourage reporting, and ASU President Michael Crow and Chief of Human Resources Kevin Salcido deny the existence of rape culture at Barrett altogether. Sun Devils Against Sexual Assault is aware of at least four sexual predators who are still teaching Honors freshman seminars and leading Barrett Study Abroad trips. This must stop. Professors should not receive “slaps on the wrist” for this behavior, as they have in the past; these professors should be terminated so they can’t abuse more students.
