Don’t really get the difference between doing smth for yourself vs doing it for others in certain situations. Makeup for example. If I do makeup because I want people to think I’m pretty, is that not still doing it for me? I feel better knowing I look better, and people acknowledging that I look good is beneficial to my self esteem. It sounds like I’m doing it for other people, but the goal isn’t actually to make people be attracted to me. Like I want them to think I’m pretty, but for my own benefit and not theirs. Does that make sense? Or is that just what doing things for other people is. Would I be a girl doing makeup for myself or would I be a girl doing makeup for other people?

Bro I swear “one shot” is losing its meaning. If there’s a time skip, it’s not a one shot. If there’s a “later that day”, it’s not a one shot. A one shot also just cannot be slow burn.

Idgaf if an artist was cancelled, they’re staying in my playlist. The only artist I’ve ever made a real effort to stop listening to was d4vd and I blocked him on Spotify. Everyone else, still in the playlists. I just don’t care and don’t believe any notable amount of their income is affected by my streaming or lack of streaming.

I hate when people hate on republicans instead of maga. I’m not particularly aligned with either major party, but I’d probably vote democratic in any major election- that being said, being republican is not a bad thing in and of itself. It’s just means (very oversimplified) you want the government less involved in things. Things like abortion bans, ICE, and repression of LGBTQ+ are not inherently republican ideas. While I’d say everyone who’s maga is republican, it’s just wrong to say every republican is maga. I completely understand cutting off relationships because of someone being maga or voting for trump because rights and autonomy are not small things to disagree about; however, people do not have to drop every republican person they know, and I think it’s become such an extreme expectation for people to do so. Anyways, that’s just my thoughts.
