Minerva McGonagall grew up in the Highlands of Scotland in the early twentieth century and was educated at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After graduation, she spent two years working at the Ministry but later secured a teaching post in the Transfiguration department at Hogwarts. Minerva remained on terms of friendship with her old boss at the Ministry, Elphinstone Urquart. Eventually the pair would marry and live in a cottage in Hogsmeade until his accidental death three years later. Minerva, unable to bear remaining alone in their cottage, returned to her sparse stone-floored bedroom in Hogwarts Castle.

I’ve never worried about Poe’s commitment. My worry is for what that commitment may cost him.

Balance to me is looking after yourself, making sure that you’re surrounded by family and friends and loved ones, but also finding a bit of a peace and calm in life because Monday to Friday I work 17 hour days, I’m on location, in freezing cold weather. To look after myself i try to eat really well. I like to take a dance class or pilates class.
