Maleficent is my comfort movie, and Maleval has always been my comfort ship (idk if that's a thing or not but definitely the ship I have shipped the longest in my life)

Watched the sequel and loathed it with a burning passion (although to be fair, the whole plot was pretty guessable with the trailers ig but still!) Spent a couple of years pretending like it doesn't exist.

There were couple of Maleval fics I really really loved. I would go back to read them several times every year. Last year, I found out that some of them were taken down. So I finally started to read the fics written after the sequel while wallowing in sadness. Absolutley loved everything I found. Decided to make an ao3 account.

I needed to catch up with everything, considering I learned that the cat's name was Arabella or what happened to her in the novelization via ao3. I didn't know where to go for a while (especially since I was told multiple times that Tumblr was practically dead) but came back here in the end.

And then I found out that they weren't releasing a physical copy until April 4th in my country (zero idea where she had gotten an ebook, probably using Amazon I think??? and I prefer hard copies in general)
