DELGADO, IVANNA.
ALBI - @elisabethstartersâ
Ivanna didnât want to think about the crumbling pieces her life was currently turning into; not wanting to think about the two that had gotten away. One who had been completely hers and the other who hadnât been hers to begin with. She didnât want to think about what a piece of shit person she was for doing what she had done so thatâs why she was currently planted in the stool at the bar in the Albi. She exhaled as she picked up one out of the two shot glasses that were placed in front of her. When she felt someone come up next to her, she used her free hand to push over the other shot glass to that person. âHere you go,â she told them, tilting her shot glass in their direction before bringing it to her lips and drinking the shot in one swift motion.
Someone pushing a free shot her way the second she saddled up to the bar? Yeah, hello new best friend. Without hesitation Summerâs fingers secured the shot in her grasp and her dark eyes found the brunette she serendipitously happened upon --- I mean really, of all the spots at the bar, the mildly reformed wild child and lost cause found a momentary kindred spirit. Luck was on her side tonight. âWell shit, thanks. I like your style...â The compliment arose from the delight in seeing how swiftly Ivanna tossed back the alcohol, even more so in waiting to see if sheâd wince or hiss at the burn. There was almost nothing comparable to seeing someone feel and emote in such a strikingly familiar fashion. Was this comforting or upsetting? Maybe a little bit of both. Summer did hiss a little at the burn once sheâd swallowed her own shot in a quick gulp, and part of her was thankful it still had that nearly eye stinging sensation. âSo whatâre we drinking on tonight?â
