okay so

I’ve stumbled upon an oldish song via the almighty YouTube algorithm, “An Unhealthy Obsession” by The Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra

And I (and ppl in the comment section) got the vibe of two stalkers going after one another without the other one knowing, which sounds like a hilarious concept (and something I expected out of killing stalking.... oh well we all know how “hilarious” that one was). So naturally, when I saw commenters mentioning Stalker x Stalker I rushed to webtoon and.... was severely disappointed.

I’m sorry but wtf, the whole stalking one another shtick is resolved literally in the very first few episodes, and the rest is more like “Yandere x Yandere” with no stalking, and even no subversion of the tropes, except they are yanderes for each other?

The art is beautiful, but I’m now more confident in my ideas and storytelling abilities. I guess I’ll try my shot at a “mutual stalkers” thing of my own.
