If it helps in any way, since someone brought up LADS, in that game you have cards of multiple AUs... So for example Caleb can have metal arm, then not and then he can be a full on android, or be a warden in some space prison. And it's up to reader to choose their favorite version of him to daydream about and stuff... So you can just see the event as an AU where the kings are slightly wrong.
And honestly, usually when it comes to events in games, i generally never treat it as the canon story, but mostly as a fanfiction to pass the time between main story chapters.
God I’m glad I’m not a otome game maker because after what LADS dealt with I don’t want to mess with otome fans. I know WHB shake things up but they’ve been contradictory too with their content. Too many directions so I can’t blame the fandom for acting like this. It’s a still a dating game after all.
TLDR: LADS introduced a new LI and parts of the China fandom went nuclear to the point of trying to sue them, so they backpedaled hard so no new LI.

Anyway, I think ngl otome games are on the edge with being toxic by default... Companies want to make a lot of money so they try to cater to specific demographics with different characters so they get super attached and spend money, but that also comes with the fact that fans develop unhealthy attchments, which get nastily shown when the company then tries to appeal to slightly wider audience for more gains.
So like yeah, it's ngl the companies fault... Get greedy -> ppl get attached, get even greedier -> core fans get upset bc you went a bit ooc for the character... But also i understand that profit is needed in order to run the game on some sort of level of quality...

Yeah you're right if it's like you said then it would be a great event indeed, but the problem is that prettybusy is not know for having good ideas, and Levi card shows him covered in bite marks and hickens, so i'm not very optimistic

There's a difference between having different kinks and changing the whole point of the character, yes it's a porn game but it also works as a otome game, in otome games you have the shy, the flirty, the dark, etc, because they are made to attract diferent types of players that i'll like different characters and stay for them. That event is perfect for who likes Asmodeus because he's the type that would do that, and if someone likes him they are fine with that, but people that like Lucifer for example like him because he's not sleeping with everyone like Asmo, is the sense of mattering that makes him special to the ones that like him. With this event they are not putting different kinks or putting dom mc, they are changing the essence that makes a character special to the one that likes him the most.
That's the thing though...
Just seeing the official art for it, that situation is supposed to underline that exclusivity. It's to really show that even if others throw themselves at the kings, the kings don't care and still want MC.
The whole 'even in a room full of people i'd look for you' type of dedication.
Imo the event isn't about voyeurism, bc then yes, we'd get Beel and Asmo, but this is about devotion. This is an event for those who always wanna be chosen.
From a writing standpoint, I honestly predict there will be a scene where Satan just blows up, starts pushing and kicking ppl left and right only to get to MC and take them out of wherever they are.
If you're on twitter and spread hate for the upcoming event put down your phone before commenting and actually reconsider playing in the near future. It's a PORN game. Put your energy into actually pointing fingers at the fact that the red keys and gacha luck are horrendous and that many people still face lots of bugs that aren't being looked at. Trying to boycott the event just because it's not to YOUR taste is not necessary. Some people are into piss play, others into feet, other people like watching others having sex it's as simple as that. If you're not open minded enough to accept that fact DONT play the upcoming event and be happy. So much stress and time is getting put into a Gacha app game for nothing. We don't even know what's gonna happen in the story. We saw the trailer yes but we can't fully tell what's gonna happen. Either way stay strong and don't let your negativity guide you.

Now I think they both would be okay to share you, but i think Lucifer sometimes might get hit with a wave of jealousy when you spend more time with Gamigin
