my thoughts: another one of my first sukufushi reads, and another one that made me fall deeper in love with them!

megumi is uncaring about what happens to him and seems to know more than he lets on. sukuna has his own suspicions about who is after megumi and conducts his own research with the help of uraume.

this fic had one of my favourite angsty scenarios: megumi begs sukuna to take his virginity, which sukuna eventually realises is because megumi doesn't want rape to be his first experience.

modern alternative universes, particular this dynamic between them, really sold sukufushi to me.

Megumi wants to have casual hookups but he's a virgin. After Yuji conveniently forgets that he's still on the phone to Sukuna while they discuss getting Megumi laid, Sukuna takes it upon himself to be Megumi's first. The journey to that moment they've both been waiting for takes a few unexpected twists and turns for them.

My thoughts: I absolutely adore the way that Sukuna takes care of Megumi as they navigate some non-penetrative sex and the beginning of Megumi's journey into BDSM. The way that Aye writes both Sukuna and Megumi's insecurities really makes me feel so much for the characters.

There's some beautiful moments of hurt & comfort for both of them, which made me as a reader fall head over heels in love with this story.

I always fall short of the right words to explain how much this fic means to me. I discovered it while searching under the "subdrop" tag, not even specifically looking for sukufushi. It was when I read this fic that it confirmed for me that shipping sukufushi was the place to be. This fic was the one that made realise that I needed to write my own skfs fics!

my thoughts: this is a psychological horror dressed as a pwp. sukuna has decided megumi is going to be his next meal after a thousand years of fasting, whispering "one day, i'm going to eat you" into megumi's ear, and megumi is rightfully terrified. sukuna keeps saying it, keeps biting him, keeps lapping at his blood and his skin, and every time he does, megumi's body betrays him. the bites hurt, but the cursed energy sukuna pumps into him turns that pain into unbearable pleasure, and megumi starts wanting it.

sukuna speaks to megumi through yuuji's body, biting his palm, licking his neck, appearing on his hand to whisper to him while yuuji is right there, oblivious. eventually, sukuna offers him a deal (six hours with megumi's body in exchange for saving his classmates from a grade 1 curse), and megumi accepts. he's always willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good. except sukuna doesn't plan to "eat" him -- at least, not in the way megumi assumed.

my thoughts: this is a slow-burn psychological horror that unfolds like a religious fever dream. i couldn't predict where it was going, i was just happy to be going along for the ride. some genuinely dark and scary scenes that gave me chills!

megumi is a phd candidate researching the two-faced god ryomen sukuna, a deity whose worship was driven by fear and human sacrifice. after a field trip where he gets lost in the forest, he starts experiencing disturbing symptoms: nightmares of being chased, sleepwalking, hallucinations of a giant antlered figure with crimson eyes, an inexplicable craving for raw meat, and a growing sense that something is following him, watching him, waiting.

the horror here is masterfully atmospheric, and there are some really amazing themes explored in this fic! this is a corruption arc, a loss of self, and what happens when obsession consumes and changes someone.

my thoughts: omegaverse scheduled chasing trope!! every year, there is an event called 'The Chase' where alphas hunt omegas through the woods, and if they capture them, they get to have their fun right then and there.

megumi has had a crush on sukuna for years, so when sukuna mentions he's running the Chase this year, megumi signs up specifically hoping to get caught by him.

the chase itself is exactly what you would want from an omegaverse chase scene - it's rough and animalistic when sukuna catches megumi, pushes him into the dirt as he 'fights back', knots him, and then carries him out of the woods like a gentleman. i love when omegaverse fics lean into the primal aspect of the trope, and the implied tradition of claiming omegas.

my thoughts: organized crime, "accidental" pregnancy, and sukuna being the most dramatic yakuza boss who ever lived. i went into this expecting a cute ceo/intern romance and instead got a full-blown mafia thriller with a side of domestic fluff, and im not complaining.

megumi is an emergency vet who gets kidnapped outside his hospital because his dad has old yakuza ties. sukuna, who megumi has been casually dating for like two weeks, turns out to be the head of one of the most powerful clans in japan. he rescues megumi, reveals his true identity, and moves megumi into his penthouse for protection.

the seemingly slowburn of their relationship picks up fast after that; they move in together, get pregnant, get engaged, and have a baby all within the year. but as domestic as all that sounds, there are some truly (wonderfully) unhinged moments in this fic, including a moment of gun play during some power dynamic smut. plus sukuna and toji meeting, and them immediately trying to kill each other. and megumi finding out sukuna's previous wife died under mysterious circumstances.

there are a lot of layers to this fic, and each one is so good.

my thoughts: oh religious corruption, my beloved. something about pure, innocent megumi being singled out by something evil and not being able to resist him is so good to me.

megumi is a nun at a convent, using a secret healing power he doesn't fully understand to help the poor. one day, a massive, four-armed, tattooed man named sukuna comes to beg and absorbs megumi's cursed energy instead of being healed. sukuna becomes obsessed, stalks him, and over multiple encounters, seduces him. this leads to an unexpected pregnancy that forces him to leave the convent and question his faith.

fortunately, sukuna is more than happy to take him in, teach him about his technique, and care for their unborn child. the loss and corruption of innocence is such a good trope to explore, and imo, it fits skfs perfectly!

my thoughts: this fic is a soft high school au about a secret crush accidentally revealed through a lost journal.

megumi finds the journal and starts reading it in hopes of finding its owner, but the poetry inside is so beautiful and heartfelt that he can't put it down. he becomes completely invested in this mystery writer while quietly wishing that someone would feel that way about him. all while the journal's owner – the resident delinquent sukuna – is losing his mind on the other side of the school because his secret feelings are now in the hands of his crush.

my thoughts: this is such a sweetomegaverse neighbors fic with a really interesting (and hot) twist on the typical alpha dynamic.

megumi notices his new neighbor, a tall alpha named sukuna, and immediately decides he wants him. but sukuna keeps his distance even though his scent spikes every time they're near each other. megumi, not one to let pride get in the way, bakes him muffins and makes the first move.

the twist is that sukuna has a condition – when he knots, he becomes dangerously feral, and it's ruined past relationships. he's sworn off dating entirely, terrified of hurting someone he cares about. but megumi tells him that's okay, and still wants to be with him, even if sukuna can never give him that one thing.

my thoughts: this is pure dead dove pwp! as always, mind the tags and proceed if you match the author's freak.

megumi meets his friend yuji's hot uncle and immediately wants him, and does whatever he can to make that happen. fortunately for him, sukuna has a mutual interest and wants to make megumi his.

the smut is taboo and delicious, with how they sneak around trying not to get caught, and megumi trying not to be too loud. this is an age gap, first time, underage (megumi is 15) fic with a megumi that knows what he wants and a sukuna that does not pretend he is a good or moral person. there isn't even an attempt to resist megumi (and who can blame him?).

my thoughts: who doesn't wanna cozy up to a sexy boss/employee slowburn every once in a while? this fic delivers on the build up and teasing, as much as it earns the payoff afterwards, making it a perfect weekend fic!

megumi ends up working as sukuna's personal assistant after missing out on a different career path that he wanted, and quickly gets swept up in the CEO's lifestyle of penthouses and luxury. sukuna might be the one to push professional boundaries first in ways that would land him in hot water with HR were this real life, but fortunately megumi likes it and starts teasing back just as bad, having the whole office side-eyeing them.

my thoughts: this is a gem of a dead dove fic that had my fingers over my mouth, eyebrows raised, for more than a few scenes. definitely check the tags before proceeding!

megumi and yuuji are married, with sukuna being the estranged father that recently came back into yuuji's life and is trying to make amends. when sukuna learns that yuuji wants kids, but megumi isn't ready for that, he goes to talk to megumi privately and reason with him. unfortunately, the talk doesn't go well, and sukuna decides that megumi shouldn't get to deny yuuji a family, and takes matters into his own hands.

sukuna just wants to make his son happy, and if yuuji wants to be a father, then sukuna will make it happen! meanwhile poor megumi has to live with not only what happened, but the fact that he liked it, and wants it to happen again.

my thoughts: mind the tags here! this is a down and dirty pwp where megumi cheats on his boyfriend yuuji with his brother sukuna, and it is a filthy as the tags promise.

on weekends, megumi gets a craving that his overly sweet committed boyfriend just can't help him with. so he goes to visit sukuna to have those needs met, where we get treated to a whole list of kinks, including somno, squirting, overstimulation, and so much much. not to mention sukuna being the king of dirty talk, something that seems to be a headcanon for who ship skfs.

my thoughts: this is such a lovely, tender little epistolary fic. megumi, forced into an arranged marriage with the feared warlord sukuna, decides to write him a letter because the zenin won't let them meet before the wedding. and then they just... keep writing to each other.

what follows is a slow unfurling of two strangers falling in love through parchment and ink. sukuna starts out guarded, almost amused by his bold little betrothed who isn't afraid to ask difficult questions. megumi starts out cautiously curious, testing the waters. and then the letters get softer, more intimate, more desperate. they share secrets, tease each other, admit they dream of each other. by the end, they're both utterly smitten and counting down the days.
