A secret is something you tell to only one person… at a time

They agreed to meet at a nice hotel, one Bryce went to a lot for his work. He dressed nicely as he was promised a fancy night out. He waited in front of the building, looking around to see if he could see the client coming.

"The whole wolf thing is still a little chaotic," she gave a soft laugh and looked down. It was a nervous laugh. One with some shame. She had killed her assistant, after all.

Elessar smiled when she laughed and talked about chaos. "Of course it is. Being a wolf is very much about learning how to channel the chaos. Do you remember what I told you about feeding two of your three hungers?"

He glanced over to the crowd inside then back up at the woman. "There are a lot of reasons why people dislike crowds. I'm sure you do know. But you don't have to tell me. I'm not fond of crowds myself. I find them annoyingly over stimulating. If I have someone pressed against me I want to have a say in who they are."

She snorts at his response. "Of course you don't." She wiggles her finger at him teasingly. "Challenging a fellow wolf are you?" He's not, but you go back-and-forth with her and teasing, and she'll go for it. "I'm a simple girl." But people like Ana aren't that simple, not in the way they appreciate people or not. She's good at telling if people have some jerkness to them, and she likes a little bit of spice in her life, but she's not a fan of strickly asshole people with a stick up their ass, or just psychos.

He put his coffee cup down again and shook his head, "A challenge? Not at all. Unless you feel like you could easily satisfy me." He chuckled, "I meet a lot of people in my line of work. And I don't believe you are something simple. Not for a second. Simple girls don't talk like you."

"I mean no harm by it Elessar. After all, you've made all of it what it is today." She'd had to claw her way to the top, and while some of the fight to the top had been dirty, she knew she would do it all again. It was also while she and Elessar worked so well together, both of them fought for what they had and fought to keep it. "I'm going to take that as a compliment." She mused, a laugh slipped past her lips as she cut another bite to take. She was quiet as she chewed, pondering the question for a moment before she shrugged. "I suppose he may have done it simply out of the goodness of his heart. But I'm more likely to believe that he has secrets of his own he wants to keep buried. Perhaps they were both shields for the other." She took another drink of wine before flashing him a devious smile. "All lines of inquiry I'm digging into I can assure you." If there was more to it she was determined to find it. She waved it away as he informed her that he didn't ask sexual preferences. "No of course not. It certainly makes you wonder though..." A small laugh as she shook her head. "Oh what a tangled web we weave." It certainly was curious that they all seemed to be tied together.

Thinking about someone doing something out of the goodness of their heart make Elessar roll his eyes. Everyone had an angle. Always. "I think you are probably onto something with that third idea. I hope you get your scoop before everything ends up public consumption." He touched his napkin to his mouth giving Sena a knowing look. "Just because I don't ask doesn't mean I don't make it my business to know. I prefer to not be surprised by my employees." He nodded and took another sip of his wine, "The whole of Coviwood is a tangled incestuous web of debauchery and excess. "

Olivier didn't smile much as he was congratulated by Elessar. A part of him was still angry that he didn't chase after the man. But it was in the past now. "It was a small thing to do making sure that filthy scumbag paid the price for infiltrating Covaire to do it harm. But the lives I was able to save were more important than pursuing him myself."

He knew some of the story not all of it. But he listened, thinking about whoever it might have been that had dragged his burning body from those demonic flames. He felt assured that if it had been Olivier the young man would have told him so long before now. "And since the King and Alpha rewarded you, they seem to have agreed with you, young Olivier." He paused, "You've been shown a lot of favor by the King over the years. Who knows. Maybe one day you'll be a Client at the rate you're climbing."

"Contemplating stealing your food," she joked before looking up to his eyes and offering a smile. "I'm joking. It does look pretty nice though. I'm waiting on an order. I just got here a little too early, so I figured I'd wait out here. Wait for the crowd to die down."

Elessar looked up at the vampire a little more focused in his good eye at her teasing reply. Cocking his head to the side as he regarded the pretty thing. He took another spoonful and ate it. "It is very good. I would recommend it if you have a sweet tooth." He turned the good side of his face to look at the crowded cafe and nodded his head, "Not a fan of the crush?"

"I haven't seen you in quite some time. I was starting to think you were scared of me," she teased. For the most part, Ellie was back to normal after everything that had happened. The heightened senses were growing back to their usual heights after being so dulled.

Elessar looked up at the teasing words. Half of his face still a mass of healing burn scars. He looked the pretty civilian over, thinking about their last encounter and just how enjoyable it had been. He smirked and replied, "What kept me away was the rather unhappy instance of nearly being incinerated." He gestured for her to sit down, "Come sit with me Eleanora and tell me how you are adjusting."

And once Olivier was done calming his craving, he politely wiped his mouth and put the used, empty bag, back in the cooler. He'd throw it away later. Then he called a waitress over and ordered an Italian BLT and Mozzerella panini with spinach instead of lettuce. and a fruity Roobios tea. "And bad for business and my livelihood. Especially after I just got a commendation by the city for helping bring that spy to justice."

"Good. Excellent even." Even without his business, Patrick has prepared for his departure, to make sure his son will be taken care of. And while many may think Mathias too insane to do much, he's excellent at tracking people, and even without knowing where Patrick is in the world, he'd eventually find him even if it took some time. So if something happens to Elessar, he knows Mathias will be alright. At least, this one won't try to change his precious son, like the gang had stupidly tried. "The drink is a drink. I did not take you for a sweet tooth."

"I don't compliment to be nice. But thanks I suppose." Ana replies in a playful tone. A pretty face and a nice smile can get you far in this city. Her short time as a Mistress had made her learn quite a lot to help her once she'd been made a prisoner. "Elessar. Now that's a name that rolls of a tongue pleasantly." She's being her terrible self with flirting. "A pawn shop? Oh you must make a fortune." Ana chuckles, because she can only imagine how desperate some people can get for money. "Little me? I work at Veggie Roofs, and work my magic on a willing citizen most nights, and sometimes, even with unsuspecting citizens." She is smooth, but she's obviously telling him that she's an exclusive escort that can adventure elsewhere when she wants. "Does that satisfies you handsome?" She winks at him.

"Yes, I am very aware of the advantages I inherited. And just how lucky they have made me." Even if he had taken the studio his father had started and made it the powerhouse it now was. He lived and breathed Lost&Found studios. It was his entire life. This empire he had built. Elessr gave Sena a nod, "I think you'd have all the right talents for what I require from my PR firm." He gave he a small wry smile, "Oh we do our own amount of tearing down. When called for." Elessar drank his wine then waved his hand, using the gesture to say that he didn't think she would do such a thing. "I completely agree. All we should do is clap and say how brave." When Sena said that Mr. Ortiz had no comment he chuckled, "Not surprising. But I still wonder how long he knew. And why he agreed to play that game with her and the press for years." Elessar nodded at the mention of the critic. "That's what I thought was strange as well." Elessar began on the first course and at the question he brought a bite of food to his mouth and swallowed before he answered, "She's obviously ambitions. And apparently is very friendly with an actress that just came out as a lesbian. Take that to mean what you will. I don't ask my employees their sexual preferences. Since that would be illegal."
