Lately, I've been utterly fixated on the robust, almost overwhelming nature of orcish and large humanoid pregnancies—especially the stark, beautiful contrast of a petite mother carrying something so massively dominant.
There is something deeply mesmerizing about how actively the baby grows, how it doesn't just quietly rest, but aggressively takes over. You can feel every solid shift, every roll of dense muscle and bone beneath skin stretched taut and thin. It’s a visceral, heavy, uncomfortable fullness; a constant, physical reminder that your body has been claimed and completely reshaped to incubate something intensely powerful.
But it’s the birth that truly consumes my thoughts. The sheer, agonizing effort of pushing out a massive, heavy infant when your frame is so small. You can't just gently breathe it out; you have to fight for every single millimeter.
The progress is frustratingly, agonizingly slow—you bear down with every ounce of strength you have, trembling and sweating from the sheer exertion, only to feel the searing, burning stretch of the crown inching forward. And then comes the surreal, exquisite agony of the horn stumps emerging. Feeling those hard, unyielding ridges of bone dragging against your flesh, forcing you to stretch to your absolute, tearing limit before they finally pop free.
In those moments, all pretense of grace or elegance is completely stripped away. There are only raw, primal grunts and guttural cries being ripped from your throat as you desperately push through the fire of it.
It’s brutal, it’s savage, but there is an intensely dark, sensual triumph in that sheer, exhausting surrender to the body's most primal work.
The satisfaction of a large robust seed, grown, then squeezed out, and now fully bloomed before a new life in loud, screaming defiance.
(Yes, I still like large, chunky pregnancies to this day-)
