So, recently we found out more about what it's like in the exorcist army from Vaggie's pov, and it's kind of odd how little control he actually has if you look closely.

Lute's the one to regularly punish them, and if you look, her "fellow exorcists" are WAY more afraid of her than of Adam.

When the soldier next to Vaggie sees Adam and Lute, she isn't afraid of Adam, she doesn't even seem to register Adam's there. All eyes are on Lute (except, ironically, Adam's.) I'm going to call the currently unnamed exorcist angel Dove from here on out.

They aren't afraid of what Adam, their supposed "leader" is going to do, they're afraid of Lute.

Even the dialog for when Adam and Lute are telling the army that they're going to attack the hotel, Adam has to tell Lute to "chill, Lute! Fuck!" after Lute says to rip "Vaggie's cunt mouth out her ass."

Even in the newest scene we have of Vaggie's past when we find her with Dove, Adam doesn't look unhappy, but Lute looks absolutely enraged, and Vaggie and Dove look terrified, again not of Adam, but Lute.

Adam is just smiling and doesn't seem to really care, even though it appears you aren't allowed to date each other in the exorcist army (or perhaps at all) and Lute is tearing Dove away from Vaggie. He looked more like an accomplice than anything.

Or maybe Dove and Vaggie were just really good friends, but it sure doesn't look that way.

Even when you look at when Vaggie "fell" it wasn't Adam that called for it, it was Lute who took it upon herself to punish Vaggie.

Adam actually didn't look too happy to lose his "best girl" (ouch for Lute who was obsessed with him) but again did nothing to stop Lute's rain of terror.

Adam practically painted a target on Vaggie's back by naming her and saying she's his "best girl."

Still though, when it comes to an army that's supposed to be his very own, he let's someone else rule, which is probably why Lute thought she would inherit the army instead of Abel.

Also, Sera's "so sorry" for what happened to sinners, because they're a soul in her care (her job) but says nothing and apologizes for nothing when comes down to how Vaggie was treated, when she knows Vaggie was an exorcist, and we know that she knows from the trial in heaven. That was also her fault as well.

This is pumpkin spice. It's used for making pumpkin pie.

Maybe they'll add pumpkin flavoring, but they can't really put dried pumpkin in there because it goes bad faster than most coffee grounds and, well, it's a squash, so it won't taste all that great.
