Hello, Tumblr and Sims community!
I've been a part of this community (on and off, I suppose) for ten years. I started my first projects on YouTube when I was 14 years old, and at 24 years old now I still love the game and find new inspiration for all of its installations and platforms.
However, I think the time has come for me to retire this blog. Below, I wanna discuss what that means for me.

Simmers With Anxiety Disorders/OCD Tendencies
Make sure that you pay close attention to your relationship with the game and your posting habits on Simblr. Personally, I realized that I was beginning to become fixated on how my game looked and achieving a “perfect” style that was either 100-percent vanilla and “clean” or CC that was meticulously organized. It may seem silly, but anxiety takes on many forms, including heavily fixating on things that are seemingly unimportant.
Perfectionism is really a cry for control in your life; it makes you think that you’re quelling anxiety by doing something exactly right, but really, it’s never good enough, so the cycle goes on and on and on.
Just something that came to my own awareness lately I thought I’d share as I’ve seen many of you frequently post about feeling stressed, unmotivated or anxious about your blogs/game. Take care <3

Continue with the Sweets 100 Baby Challenge! I’ve been in a rut playing the game in general right now, but I do like 100 baby challenges in the Sims 4 so I’d like to pick back up on that soonish.
Start an actual legacy in the Sims 4. I really miss legacy gameplay, but I’m currently having such a hard time finding inspiration in the Sims 4 to start one like I did in the Sims 3. If anyone has legacy challenge recommendations or tips for the Sims 4, feel free to send them to me!
“Not Your Grandma’s House” Build Set
Hi, ignore the bad preview! I don’t know what I’m doing.
I recolored some items from the base game in a matching palette for my own personal use and then decided to upload it because why not?
The windows, shuttered windows, window boxes, and front door are recolored in the above palette. The siding is recolored in the above palette in two ways - with the corners white, or the siding white and the corners in rainbow.
You can find everything in game by searching “Not Your Grandma’s”.
Want the duplexes I used in the preview? Find them in the gallery by searching my Origin ID - cqpricorn! They were built on a 30x20 lot in Newcrest.

Friendly PSA that your stories, gameplays, ect don’t have to be perfect and that’s okay.
This isn’t course work. It’s not a job. And you don’t need to prove yourself to a bunch of randos on the Internet.
Nobody here is perfect, even the people you admire, and you’ll never improve if you only accept perfection as an acceptable standard.
It’s okay to suck at taking screenshots or editing CAS sims.
It’s okay if your story is a silly, nonsensical romance about sims only you care about.
It’s okay if the best you can mesh in blender is an awkward algamation of two hairs you thought looked great in your head.
It’s okay to not be perfect.

Hello! I’ve made a bedroom set for toddlers that’s a bit more fun than the things EA gave us. This is not a separated bed. (Personal preference.) It comes with 7 different patterns in three wood colors - black, white, or brown, along with 3 bonus halloween patterns in black wood only.

sorry to bother but do you think you’d ever play another berry ts3 save?
hii you’re not a bother at all! i’ve actually thought about this a lot. @virtuchem, @fireleaf and i even had a discussion about it on discord a few months ago.
i’m definitely interested in playing another berry save in the sims 3. i just have to find some inspiration to get started in that, especially with how much of a perfectionist i tend to be. maybe you guys could send me some inspiration! blogs, names, color palettes, anything would help! i’d love to do one again, especially if it’s something people would be interested in.
edit: this is especially something i’d love to get into soon because as much as i love the simms family, i’ve been craving something... new.
