But wait, THERE’S MORE. Norah has issues learning how to listen and as sad as it is- we all know we can correct it, right guys? All unclaimed submissives are now hereby allowed to order Norah to do anything for this next week - until Tuesday of next week. If she does not comply, you personally will get to whip her with my cat o’ nines while I’m aside you! Exciting right? But that’s not even the best part, as you get to whip her, she’ll be boxing against one of those boxing bag things and have to ask you to stop when she gets too exhausted.

Apparently I need to additionally put rules on this.. Submissives orders on Norah still go under Dominant’s and there’s no orders like ‘spend the night with me’. You are all not Dominants and I’m sure you’re all well aware of that. You’re just now allowed to tell your peer what to do with zero consequences.

If you’re an unclaimed submissive and you do not start ordering Norah, you will officially have to be forced to do a talent in the talent show that you do not want to do. I will make this worse on everyone if anyone raises a fit, I assure you. Sidenote: if anyone has an issue with this order who isn’t Norah Gilbert, please come to me.

Not too bad.  I’ve been enjoying the warm weather out on the school grounds today, and brainstorming some ideas for...expanding upon my role here.

Confusing you means that now you feel like you’ve done him wrong, which is exactly what he wants. The fact that he started drama, and I refreshed our memory on his exact words which should clear your mind up a bit, isn’t at the front of your mind. What is on the front of your mind is “Maxim was wronged.” Successful manipulation. He spoke out in a childish and toxic way because he’s bitter and now you feel like he has been wronged. Unfortunately, this is a behavior we’ll have to deal with since he lives here. Learn to recognize it.

He doesn’t want to be sent to the markets. What he wants is for everyone to pity him and give him attention. He isn’t mature enough to even think that far. The “point” of his words don’t even matter. It’s all a hollow manipulation tool to reach his goal; to be pitied and to get attention for it. And he’s a narcissist, so even if nobody else pities him, he can pity himself and that’s the most important opinion of all. Being able to pity himself is the biggest pay out.

Lana, I love you but literally… no one. No one like… I can experience want all I want but it doesn’t give a shit if I don’t.. if no Dominants are interested in me.

So what?  There’s still a chance one is interested.  You said it yourself just now; the operative word being ‘if’.

Because he’s trying to confuse you, now that he has failed to walk away from this as the victor by legitimate means.

This started because he spoke words with the intention of painting all Dominants in a certain way. He spoke for their feelings and he spoke for the legitimacy of their claims and why they created and nourish them. He was absolutely in the wrong, and he was absolutely being antagonistic for no clear reason. He was disrespectful to Dominants, he disrespected claims, and he acted like he knew everything- probably from his petty excuse for a sob story. As if being a submissive-beaten is a reason to discourage your peers and make it sound like anyone who thinks other than he does is ridiculous and broken. He was trying to make a peer feel like an idiot for what he wanted in a claim; for wanting to have one at all and for having his own idea of what he wants from one that is different than his own. There was no positive intent behind his actions. He was being a petty child.

In all accounts, Maxim McCarthy was speaking out of turn and speaking damaging nonsense while he was at it. Everyone that spoke against him was correct in doing so.

Then when everyone that spoke up did so, he started trying to turn this into a pity party for himself; as if he had been attacked in some way. The girl that crawls in his shadow did him no good with her post either, and I hope his siblings haven’t further ruined his lowered mental capacity by encouraging his behavior. In no world was it smart to speak the way that he did. In no world was he correct in what he said. In no world is he right for trying to make other people feel bad for standing up for themselves after he insulted them. In no world is he anything but a petty child.

So he’s changed the original problem in his head, erased the fact that he caused all of this, and is trying to turn this into an event in which he is the victim somehow. He’s being erased. He’s being attacked.

In reality, he’s a stupid little boy that doesn’t know the value of self-preservation. He’s not smart enough to not insult every Dominant in one sentence. He’s not smart enough to want to explore a good claim. He’s not smart enough to want to avoid the slave markets. But most of all, he’s not smart enough to want to explore any options that don’t make him someone to pity. It’s pathetic and weak. To be a person who cannot exist without being pitied.

I can’t speak on behalf of the Dominant population in this scenario, but I do know the capacity my own mark has.  Conrad’s hopes for a loving Claim doesn’t harm anyone...nor does it affect anyone else’s shot at a Claim.  I just...don’t understand it.

I think there was certainly a time when I sought out pity--consciously and not--and it never wrought me anything good.  I’ve since let that part of my personality go...and I’ve never felt better in so long.  Now, when I tell my story of my journey from auctions to here, isn’t a means to gain pity.  It’s a learning tool. 

Self-preservation is the cardinal rule in this Academy...and by extension in life...unless someone actually wants to be put up on the blocks...which sometimes I’ve wondered if Maxim actually does.
