For those still battling the stress and the distance of a ldr, I can tell you that I understand. Never give up. Happiness isn’t just temporary. It can be forever. We survived years living 4,500 miles apart with very little time and money for travel. We had some really hard times and the temptations of the easy life played its wicked tune a time or two. But we stayed strong. We suffered through the pain of goodbyes. We slept with tear soaked pillows and sleepless nights. Ya see the good times we shared were worth it. Even the best visits were shadowed with the knowledge of the pending separation. Those days are over. We are finally whole. We are the dream come true. We are what so many of you are looking for. It can happen. You can have a love like this. We are proof.

It’s finally happening. I’m going to be with my one forever. I’ll be home in about a week.
