The view of the stars at my Dad's is not of the same glory as the view of them out to sea, or in a desert somewhere. But, it is so much better than at home and I wished to share them with you. I am thinking of you and your family on this Yule morning. And I am thinking of others who have crossed to the other side, and their families too.

11/20/2019 marks two months since SS passed away

I've heard from 8 others like me that SS helped privately in very big ways

SS found me a kink aware therapist and ways to cover the cost

Because she did I got a right diagnosis and medications

Because I did my life is better

SS helped me change the way I eat for the better

Because she did I feel better and my blood tests are better

Before SS I suffered with undiagnosed and untreated social phobia, depression, and high functioning autism

Today I am slowly moving forward enough to be able to go to some adult education classes to fill in all the gaps from religous home schooling

The others I've heard from have similar stories

It pushes you to close doors and face the lies you’ve tolerated. And in the clarity left, incredible beauty 💞

It is believed that as the veil between the two worlds is at it's thinnest at this time of year. Those who have left us can come back for a brief visit on this night. Your energy and love for them is the path they follow. The Candle is the light that guides them to your home, and two small vessels one of salt and one of water, represent the essence of life. the salt and water also represent the meal you would have prepared for them when they were on this side. As they pass through your home, they can leave their love and blessings, and take away your troubles.

Day of the Dead.

Again this year, we're taking money we'd spend on candy and giving out quarters. Safe for all, and allows purchase of what they want on the after-sales.

Day of the Dead. Ancestors truly die with their last memories in their survivors. Pull out pictures. Gather the family. Tell stories and share memories.

Tell of SS, the Bad Ass Barbie who fought cancer to the end, and passed down the fire of running to such as @instructor144 , and inspired such as me to exercise more.

Make your dead live again, if only for one more day.

My father was a bipolar genius, who didn't drink, was monogamous, and never missed a day of work.

Remember my grandfather, who when his work crew were taken to a Japanese holding camp in WWII, fought with guards to bring them food and some of their personal items.

Remember my other grandfather, who was an itinerant dentist, moving from town to town during the Depression, exchanging dentistry for food, and extractions with numbing for hard coin, fifty cents, to pay the petrol to move on. While supporting a family of four.

Remember my many-greats grandparents, who after the Spanish Flu pandemic, took in all the orphans, and we still haven't a clue which ancestors are blood, and which unofficially adopted.

On the first month's anniversary of your day,

I mourn the loss of you, my subby sister S-S,

At the setting of the sun I pray,

That the Gods have brought you happiness,

Our friend, our supporter, our Warrior Lady,

We miss your Earthly presence amongst us,

But we know you lived your life bravely,

And your Spirit lives on thus! 💜⚔️💜
