"Oh you should be jealous. He's having a great time in there." The artist quipped in that light, French accent of his. "Oh?" There came that interested quirk of his brow at Jude bragging about being more flexible than some made up, imagined version of himself. "You're aware that a claim like that might have to be proven sometime. If only so I know you're a man of your word, Anderson." He added with a tilt of his head. "Even if I don't doubt that you would look a thousand times better in those positions.." There was a glint in Ollie's eyes like he was running though a few of them right now. His eyes dipping slightly to run down the others body before back up to the others gaze.
There's a gentle laugh at the mention of glitter underwear- 'You're aware even by mentioning that, you're willing it into existent. I was thinking of something like, a size or two too small and just utterly sinful. But I do love the idea of painting some on you. Nice to know you're so captivated with the idea of my paintbrush Anderson." Ollie always had that way about him, a certain carefree ease when it came to flirting and dirty talk. He could wield it like a weapon or like feather, a calming presence or a heated moment, all depending on the moment.
He could have pulled away from the other when those hands found his for the second time but Ollie slid his fingers back into Jude's and easily gave that hand another squeeze. He even took a step closer to tower over the other a little more, stealing that moment between them as much as he can as his bright eyes danced into the others. "Well now that is quite the compliment- Are you going to beg on your knees for me, little Anderson?" Ollie practically purred as he let his other hand raise to brush his knuckles against the others neck. Even when the other loosened that hold on their fingers, Ollie made no attempt to pull away or separate them. Instead he just let that question hang in the air between the two of them for a second or two before he took a step back to give the other a little air- to release that tension just a touch. Besides it gave him a chance to answer the other.
"Your brother will make time for you- but I'm glad Bas did the welcoming thing. He's good at it. And you'll find pretty much everyone around is super nice but I get it, going from the real world to this is...a change." Because god knows even he missed Paris or New York from time to time. "But yeah, if you need anything you have your brother, me or Bas. Just gotta ask Jude." Ollie added with another little squeeze of the others hand.
Sometimes, rather stupidly, Jude wondered if the Smythe twins did certain things on purpose just to induce some kind of madness in a person. Things like sprinkling a teasing dusting of an accent that could make someone, like Jude himself right at this moment, legs weaken a little. It was proving hard to maintain any sense of chill and decorum the more Ollie spoke but the shorter one was definitely clinging to it by his fingertips. "C'est horrible!" He purposefully overly dramatically declared with a hand coming to his chest as though he had been painfully betrayed. "I can't believe that a fake me is just there inside of your head living out all my dirty dreams that he absolutely doesn't deserve as much as I do."
However, his theatrics didn't last long as the challenging words were coming from his friend, making Jude bite the inside of his cheek for just a moment nodding as he tried to hide the way he had to swallow before answering. "I'm very much aware and I don't make promises I can't keep. I try to be a man of my word if nothing else. Trust; even in its' most simplest, seemingly unimportant and hypothetical, form is important and fragile. Once it's been broken, it's very hard to get that back. And I wouldn't want you to think I'm a liar, now would I?" The expression in the taller one's eyes before they were dragging over the sub's form, saying each honey-soaked words, sent an army of goosebumps across his skin in droves. "So, so, much better," he responded lamely, the close enough to praise compliments causing his brain to temporarily buffer.
Again, needing to recover again, the performer cleared his throat and licked his dry lips, hoping that he wasn't staring too long or too hard at Ollie as he returned the laugh. "Don't you bring the Dodgeball of Apollo curse on me for this of all things, Smythe! Do you see this hair?! Do you know how many products and how much of them I have to use to maintain it?! Getting glitter on me would be a plague I could never get rid of. I would very much prefer squeezing all of this, into something much too small, that you could make out every line and crevice. I'd also take something that's simply just a string that can't even hide my shame or that. We can workshop all of that later and focus on how I'm not only captivated but thoroughly enthralled by your very talented paintbrush and your specially made paint that could turn me into a work of art that would rival the Sistine Chapel. To the point, I will in fact be risking treading on cringe territory by saying something as awfully cliched as 'Paint me like one of your French boys, Sir.'" Jude grinned and thanked his lucky stars that he was a seasoned actor because it made it easier to match energy with Ollie and be unapologetically brazen; despite the feral swarm of feral butterflies that were threatening to consume him.
The reassuring squeeze, with palms pressed together, was a blessing and a curse. It helped to put Jude at ease a little from the flirty, bordering-on banter, conversation but it also sent his pulse racing. This only worsened as the taller man stepped into his personal space, making Jude have to crane his neck upwards just a bit more to keep looking into the awe-inspiring artist. Taking a step back didn't cross his mind. Not even once. Not when he was caught like a moth to a flame in Ollie's eyes and the physical connection between them from their hands that were still threaded together. "Am I–" Jude's voice died out as his breathing was caught by the feather-light caress across the weak spot of his neck. Entranced, his eyes closed as he leaned into the touch, craving a bit more. The relaxed hold he had on the other's hand tightened slightly before he managed to reopen his eyes. Unable to remember the question, he was taking a step forward as Ollie retreated, like he was following his lead in a Tango of sorts.
The conversation about his brother and Sebastian did however clear his mind just enough that Jude was able to take a big inhale. He took a couple of beats before trusting his voice to speak again. "Right. No. I know that. Ell has a whole life that he's been living with things to do and I didn't expect him to drop everything because of my surprise appearance. We'll get to have some brother bonding time later. And as far as substitutes go for welcoming and tour guide, Bastian is a pretty fantastic one. It was really nice of him to take some time out for me. I have no doubt that everyone here is completely wonderful and luckily I'm a big social butterfly I never really have much of a hard time. It's just... like you said... going from the real world, like NYC, to here. It takes some adjusting to find my footing and learn my place in the ecosystem where a lot of people have had a lot of time to know each other on many levels. But! I'm too stubborn and prideful to back down from anything, even if it scares me a little. Just gotta turn that fear into something more productive and it becomes something more akin to thrilling." His expression softened and turned affectionate when Ollie gave him not only encouragement but comfort with his words and the squeeze. "Thank you for that. I really needed those exact words and they mean more than you know to me."
