the cortexiphan trials are a government sanctioned side division of the same mkultra experiments eleven was apart of. instead of walter notifying the police and olivia leaving the trials, the cortexiphan experiments continue and her powers progress. like the olivia of the orange!verse, she goes on to kill her step-father (after the same situation where he was beating her mother) and is placed in to government custody. however, she is then transferred to hawkin’s laboratory where her powers further develop under their rigorous testing.
