Owned cash fag

I do own a cage and in the past have had my save sleep in it. However, I found it counterproductive for my purposes because he does not get a good night’s sleep when in the cage and therefore his service to me the following day is less than optimal.  Not something I want, so I do not have him sleep in the cage any more.

However, I will use it for discipline purposes.  If he misbehaves, I may send him to his cage to spend time alone, even if he is in the same room with me, which he usually is when in the cage.  I want him to have time to think about his transgressions and to also understand that when he misbehaves, he separates himself from me.

One thing I find interesting, though, is there are times, not often, when he asks to be in his cage. At such times he wants the safety and security he finds there. Kind of like a little boy with a fort, I suppose.

Let me answer this pre and likely post COVID-19, since this is an atypical time for all of us.

When I first took full-time ownership of him, I placed him on a strict schedule – hour by hour – each day. That lasted about a month, if that long. Far too much work to enforce and he was more focused on the clock than his work or on me.  Not a good plan.

Since then he is given chores and timeframes/days on which to do them, but no strict time schedule.

He is expected to be up, showered, body shaved, etc., before he wakes me with coffee in hand.  While I shower and get dressed for the day, he is preparing my breakfast, which he then serves to me.  

When I get home in the late afternoon, he is to have my wine ready to pour and dinner ready to serve 30 minutes after I arrive. I alert him if my schedule is going to alter my normal arrival time.  After we have eaten, he cleans the kitchen, turns down my bed for later and lays out my clothes for the next day.  After which he brings me an evening liqueur or brandy, whichever I have asked for, trims and lights my cigar then settles at my feet.

Evenings vary, depending on my mood and desires.  Sometimes there is either intense or relatively relaxed sexual activity.  More often we will watch TV, enjoy a movie or each read a book.

His bed time is usually 8:30 or 9:00, sometimes later if I want.  I like to end m my day quietly and alone.  He is allowed to read in bed for 30 minutes. He may not use any electronic devices after his bedtime.  He always has a book or articles I have chosen for him or assigned to him. After this 30 minutes, he must turn off his light and go to sleep.

His chores depend on the day of the week.

Monday is house cleaning day.  

If I have volunteered him to an organization or he has a paid work assignment, like he had before the virus lock down, he works from 10 – 3 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Tuesdays when he gets home, he is to wash the windows.

Wednesday afternoon is laundry day.

Thursdays he does the weekly shopping on his way home.

Friday he thoroughly cleans the kitchen, my bedroom and my playroom.  He also tends to all of my gear and toys to make sure they are in order and in proper condition.

Weekends also vary. Most often, Saturday is yard day for him.  Sunday is a free day where I decide what we will do.  Sometimes we stay in; sometimes we go out; sometimes both.

The schedule will change, of course, if needed.  Changes may occur if we are having guests or have a social or work event to attend.
